I want to share some really exciting news about a project that has, well, pretty much dominated my life for the last two years. It's for all of you who sometimes lie awake wondering if your money will last as long as you do. This fear is pervasive – more than 84% of Gen-X’ers (and nearly as many Boomers and millennials) say they’re "concerned or terrified" about the day their paychecks stop. And it can hit you even if you've done everything right, saving consistently, maxing out your retirement accounts and sacrificing today to make tomorrow possible. The problem is...no one has ever helped you tackle the hardest question: How do you make your money last as long as you do – and actually enjoy it along the way? It's something you can't afford to get wrong. If you do, you’ll either run out of money too soon or you’ll discover too late that you didn’t use your money as much as you could have to enjoy your life. I don't want either of those things to happen to you. Which is why I dug into finding an answer and then explaining it in my new book, "The Forever Paycheck." "The Forever Paycheck" introduces a revolutionary concept: instead of managing a pile of savings you’re terrified to touch, you convert some money into a steady monthly paycheck that lasts a lifetime. The results are remarkable – people who do this spend more (often double what they thought was possible), stress less and actually enjoy the retirement they worked so hard to build, all without running short of funds. New research even links a "Forever Paycheck" to better health and a longer lifespan. Mel Robbins, NYT bestselling author of "The Let Them Theory," has already read it and says: "‘The Forever Paycheck’ is the clear, step-by-step plan that will help you stop guessing, stop stressing, and start using your money with confidence." I want this book in all of your hands because it's packed with actionable advice that works for everyone, regardless of age, portfolio size, or risk tolerance. Now for the ask: "The Forever Paycheck." releases on September 8th, but if you know anything about the book world lately, you know that pre-orders are very, very important. So, please – if I've helped you save for retirement, understand the world of money, or improved your financial life in any way – support this effort. Over a 40-year career, I truly feel this is the most important work I've ever done. Preorder here: https://lnkd.in/eneGcmhz

IT’S OFFICIAL! My book, MICROPRACTICE: A Science-Backed Approach to Calm, Clarity, and Joy in 30 Seconds or Less, is now available for pre-order. micropractice.com/book This book is built to address three problems with well-being: • You don’t have time • The benefits don’t carry into your day • Knowing isn’t the same as making it a habit Micropractice offers a different approach— one that doesn’t ask for more of your time, but shows you how to unlock the power in the moments you already have. Inside are 14 research-backed micropractices, each 30 seconds or less, designed to fit into moments you were going to live through anyway. If this work has ever resonated with you, I’d be grateful for your support. And if someone comes to mind, sharing this—or pre-ordering a copy for them—helps this idea travel further. Thank you for being part of this. Let’s see how far something small can go. Grateful to Avery and Tarcher | Penguin Random House, Penguin Random House, Penguin Publishing Group, my agent Bonnie Solow, my editor Anna Paustenbach, and so many others, including Elisabeth Koyfman, Farin Schlussel, Jamie Lescht, and my partner Rebecca Strull (who beautifully illustrated the book) for helping bring this to life.

  • Congratulations to Sanyu Dillon, President, Random House Publishing Group, on being inducted into the American Marketing Association New York Marketing Hall of Fame and receiving the prestigious “Spirit of New York” distinction. This honor recognizes leaders who embody the city’s creativity, cultural influence, and ability to shape markets.   Sanyu has transformed how books connect with readers through innovative, reader-focused marketing strategies and visionary leadership.    “The best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing,” Sanyu Dillon said. “It feels like someone understood you, and the best books do exactly the same thing. If we can keep doing that—building things that feel like understanding rather than interruption—then we’re doing more than our jobs. We’re making it a little more likely that the right story reaches the right person at the right moment.”   Join us in celebrating Sanyu's lasting impact on our industry and New York City!   https://lnkd.in/eUDERveW

We’re heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Ann Godoff, Penguin Press’s founder, President, and Editor-in-Chief. Ann lived by the words of poet Mary Oliver, an author she had worked with for years: “to pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.” Ann published books that helped make sense of our complicated world, that inspired us all to be better and braver. Everything we at Penguin Press do rests on the foundation she built. https://lnkd.in/eKqnegzB
