We're excited to celebrate two newly licensed professional engineers at Parametrix! Nate Smith, PE is an engineer with our Greater Washington Transportation team based in Puyallup, WA. He joined Parametrix in 2022 after graduating from Washington State University. He says his favorite projects to work on typically involve parks or roundabouts and offer the opportunity to improve public spaces. Madelyn Cayton, PE is an engineer with our Oregon/Idaho Transportation team based in Bend, OR. She joined Parametrix in 2024 and graduated from Gonzaga University. She says she enjoys projects where she can explore creative solutions, weighing the benefits and drawbacks of each. Congratulations, Nate and Madelyn!

May is American Wetlands Month - a time to recognize the vital ecological and economic importance of our nation's wetlands. 🌿🐸🦫💚 In celebration, Parametrix wetland scientist Brianna Hines took employee-owners on a special tour of the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in Olympia, WA. Lauren Mackie asks her a few questions about wetlands and what makes this place so unique. Check it out!
