June is PTSD Awareness Month. About 12 million people in the U.S. are living with PTSD, yet many never receive treatment. The good news: PTSD treatment works. Whether trauma comes from military service, assault, accidents, disasters, or other experiences, effective support can help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. Join us in raising awareness and sharing hope all month long. #PTSDAwarenessMonth #MentalHealthAwareness

Ohio youth are leading the conversation around mental health awareness. 📱 💚 DBH Director Tia Marcel Moretti joined Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF) for the launch of a new youth-focused campaign to raise awareness of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, featuring “N88” (pronounced Nate), a youth-created character designed to make mental health support feel more approachable and accessible for students across Ohio. Developed with input from young people, the campaign aims to reduce stigma, encourage connection, and help more youth know where to turn for support. Campaign materials will begin appearing in schools and youth organizations across Ohio during the 2026–2027 school year. DBH Director Tia Marcel Moretti participated in McDermott Will & Schulte's #McDermottHealthEx2026 last week in Nashville. Thanks to the panelists and everyone who contributed to the discussions throughout the event. It was valuable hearing perspectives from healthcare executives, investors, operators, and advisors on the opportunities and challenges facing hospitals, health systems, and behavioral health organizations today.

If mental health challenges are starting to affect your daily life — your sleep, focus, relationships, or motivation — it’s okay to ask for help. Therapists, counselors, and psychiatrists are trained to support you and guide you through tough times. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You don’t have to go through it alone. Find help using FindTreatment.gov. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth
