  • What an incredible few days at the NAMI Ohio Conference! Thank you to everyone who joined us—your energy, passion, and commitment to improving mental health across Ohio made this gathering truly special. We are especially grateful to our featured speakers, Dr. Amy Acton and Mr. Vivek Ramaswamy, for taking the time to be with us and help spark such an important conversation about the future of mental health in our state. A sincere thank you as well to Ohio Department of Medicaid Director Scott Partika and Ohio Department of Behavioral Health Director Tia Marcel Moretti for sharing their leadership and insight. We’re proud to recognize this year’s award winners—Mental Health Champion Liz Henrich and 2026 Affiliate of the Year, NAMI Athens—both shining examples of impact and dedication in action. And to all of our NAMI Ohio Affiliates, volunteers, partners, and supporters: thank you for the work you do every day and for helping make this year’s conference such a meaningful and enjoyable experience. • NAMI’s theme for #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth is more than a message — it’s a call to move from silence to healing, together. For too long, stigma has kept people from speaking openly about their mental health. But when we share our experiences, we create space for understanding, connection, and support. Every story matters. When you speak up, you remind someone else they’re not alone — and help turn silence into strength. Join us this Mental Health Awareness Month. Share your story. Be part of the movement to break the silence: nami.org/mham #MHAM2026 #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #EndTheStigma #BreakTheSilence #YouAreNotAlone

NAMI’s theme for #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth this year is more than a message — it’s how we move from silence to healing, together. For too long, stigma has kept people quiet about their mental health. But when we speak up, we make space for understanding, connection, and healing. So how do we begin? By sharing our stories. When you share your story, you show someone else they are not alone. You help turn silence into support — and strengthen the path toward healing for all of us. Join NAMI this Mental Health Awareness Month. Share your story. Help break the silence: nami.org/mham #MHAM2026 #EndTheStigma #BreakTheSilence #YouAreNotAlone
