Open Data Science Conference (ODSC) reposted this
The best tech conferences are the ones you feel like you have years worth of friendly catch-ups to do... 🥂 At the last Open Data Science Conference (ODSC), I caught up with my long-time collaborator and friend, Bryce Merkl Sasaki, for a Graph Chat that was part reunion and part dive into the future of Graphs+AI. Bryce and I have been in the trenches together for years. We remember when getting people to understand a Knowledge Graph was a struggle—now we’re at the point where we're talking about Graph RAG, multimodal data, and Graph as Memory. 🧠 A few highlights from our chat: - Why graphs are the natural solution to the short-term memory limitations of LLMs. - Why we shouldn't just be graphing text, but audio, video, and even functional math. - Tooling for Humans: Bryce is now at gdotv, and we talked about how they’re making the scary parts of graph modeling (like debugging and schema scanning) actually approachable for devs. - The GraphCon Vision: Is the world ready for a vendor-agnostic, community-first "Comic-Con for graphs"? (Start planning your node-cosplay now. 🦸♂️) SPOILER: A GraphCon event will be announced soon! It’s always a blast to riff with someone who has been in the space as long as I have. 👉 Register for the April ODSC with code "GraphGeek-ODSCAI" for an extra discount: https://odsc.ai/east/ 🎬 Watch the full chat here: https://lnkd.in/g7ktNQdz 🎧 Listen here: https://lnkd.in/ggEgW2J7
