Upgrading operations facilities in China for future growth 🌱 Recently, we officially opened new buildings and a quality control lab across sites in Tianjin (TEDA) and Taicang, where we also marked a 30-year anniversary milestone. 🥳 The inaugurations were attended by our COO Anders Lund as well as many colleagues, local authorities and partners, including Ambassador Michael Starbæk Christensen and Consul General Jens Alsbirk. The new facilities represent continued investments in capabilities supporting future growth and strengthening our global production footprint as the demand for biosolutions continues to increase.  Thank you to all colleagues involved as well as the local authorities and partners who continue to support our development in China and the region. #biosolutions #operations #novonesis

Committed to supporting and building environments where every person is safe and free ❤️ Last week, our colleague Sara Lynge Skovhede, Global DEI Lead, joined a panel discussion at the 13th European IDAHOT+ Forum 2026 in Copenhagen, co-hosted by the Danish Government, the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Council of Europe. "The testimonials from across Europe made a strong impression. They show how easy it is to take access and wellbeing for granted. Inclusion will not happen by itself, it requires commitment across communities and markets, to remove structural barriers and create better access to the labour market and more inclusive workplaces," she said. Southeast Asia has everything it needs to fuel and feed its own future, and biosolutions can help the region move forward. 🌱     Instead of relying on imported oil and gas, biosolutions use what's already around us, such as plants, crop leftovers, and agricultural waste. Novonesis featured in Danish radio show focusing on biosolutions 🙌 Yesterday, Chief Science Officer Claus Crone Fuglsang was the guest on a live radio show by DR - Danmarks Radio. He explained what enzymes and microbes are, and how the power of biology can bring sustainable solutions to some of the major problems the world is facing today. 🌱 After the appearance, he shared his thoughts:  "In Novonesis, business and sustainability go hand in hand: While our biosolutions are driving decarbonization, revitalizing nature, enabling healthy lives and transforming food systems, we delivered 7% growth in 2025, and we expect to deliver 6-9% growth year-on-year towards 2030. Denmark has everything it takes to create conditions for more businesses to deliver, and we are excited to resume the collaboration with the coming Danish government to fulfill the promise of biosolutions," he said. This quote by Japanese microbiologist Sakaguchi Kin'Ichiro was part of our colleague David Zilber's keynote presentation last week in Brussels, Belgium, at the European High-Level Conference on Biosolutions. In front of policy makers and business leaders, he shared his perspective on the impact of fermentation and biology on today's food systems.🙌 Thank you to the European Biosolutions Coalition for arranging this conference and bringing leaders and bright minds together for an inspiring and impactful day, a timely gathering ahead of the anticipated Biotech Act II. One clear takeaway from the conference was that biosolutions must play a central role in Europe’s competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability going forward. Showcasing biosolutions for the future of health and nutrition   Last week, our colleagues from the Human Health Biosolutions team were in Barcelona, Spain for the Vitafoods Europe 2026 conference. Visitors at the Novonesis booth had the chance to try our samples or talk to our experts for the latest microbiome science and biosolutions addressing these issues. They could also explore our virtual reality experience BioLens, focusing on the latest science on the gut-brain axis and psychobiotics.
