This week, we officially closed the books on 2025, and I’m exceptionally proud of the way we delivered on behalf of the five million clients Northwestern Mutual serves. We grew our total surplus to $42+ billion, enabling us to thrive in any economic environment and maintain the industry’s top-available financial ratings for the 35th consecutive year. We generated more than $40 billion in revenue and over $10 billion in operating gain, both surpassing those milestones for the first time in company history – a clear validation of our relevance in the marketplace and our comprehensive approach to financial planning. Additionally, we announced an all-time high $9.2 billion expected dividend payout for policyowners in 2026. It’s the industry’s largest, nearly $1 billion more than the 2025 payout, and close to $2.4 billion more than the sum we provided just three years ago. Our total revenue in 2025 exceeded $40 billion.
