  • We're excited to be named the #1 most promising early-stage company on the 2026 Enterprise Tech 30 list by Wing VC and Eric Newcomer. The ET30 highlights the most promising private enterprise technology companies, selected by top venture investors. Being recognized at the top of this list is a huge honor and a testament to the incredible work our team has put in to reimagine how companies build and maintain their knowledge systems. • Most of the "standards" we have today were developed in the 2000's through RFCs (requests for comment) by developers at various companies "/.well-known/" became a reserved path for all "specification" files to live at back in 2010 due to RFC5785 It's unlikely that anyone in 2010 would have predicted markdown files meant to be consumed by LLMs would count as "specifications"... but alas here we are All mintlify sites now support both `/.well-known/agent-skills` and `/.well-known/skills` standards from the respective @AnthropicAI and @Cloudflare RFCs https://lnkd.in/gQDA4FCU

The launch of Workflows is an example of what it actually takes to find PMF. When we launched Suggestions in December, the response was immediate. Demo calls booked back to back for weeks. The signal was undeniable: everyone wanted self-updating docs. But the product itself didn't land. The feedback kept coming back to the same things: too rigid, no way to steer or prompt it, results were okay at best. People loved the idea. They just couldn't actually use it. We went back to the drawing board equipped with the feedback. That brought us to Workflows: always-on agents for knowledge management, where users stay in control. Set a trigger, write a prompt, and let it run. We've been testing it on our own docs internally. Over 100 edits made so far. Our technical writing team has gone from skeptical to fully relying on it. Customers that didn't like Suggestions are adopting Workflows fast. Launch early, get the feedback, and actually use it. Suggestions failing the way it did is what made Workflows possible. Product is only half the equation to PMF.

The SOTA AI is constantly evolving - so we spent some time rethinking the Mintlify assistant. We refactored the context retrieval from the old semantic search approach to a file system, grep-based approach. We found this to be much more faster and precise. Some other improvements include: → Multi-modal (ask questions about images) → Contextual-awareness (the assistant is aware of the page/section you're on) → OpenAPI search (ask about a specific API endpoint) Try it out and let us know what you think!
