🏗️ Project Complete: PetFix Garfield Heights 🐾 We’re proud to celebrate the completion of the PetFix Garfield Heights Clinic, expanding access to vital spay and neuter services across Northeast Ohio. For more than two decades, PetFix Northeast Ohio has been dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation through education and accessible care. With growing demand for services, this new facility represents an important step forward in supporting pet owners, shelters, and communities throughout the region. Delivered by our Design-Build Group in collaboration with Onyx Creative, this fast-paced tenant fit-out transformed an existing office building into a fully functional clinic in just a few months. The project included selective demolition, a reimagined operational layout with surgical and recovery spaces, finish upgrades, and updated plumbing and electrical systems—along with new doors and cabinetry throughout. 🏗️ Project Progress | Lake County Executive Airport Terminal ✈️ Since breaking ground in March 2025, the Lake County Executive Airport Terminal project has made significant progress, with our Construction Management team now entering the final stages of delivering this state-of-the-art community asset. The new terminal is designed to create a welcoming and functional experience, featuring a first-floor reception and waiting area with direct tarmac access, along with a dedicated pilot’s lounge. The second floor will include a meet-and-greet and training space, administrative offices, and an exterior balcony overlooking runways, offering a unique aviation perspective. Momentum on site continues, with recent concrete placements completed along the side and rear elevations to support key building components and long-term site access. Façade elements and stair details are scheduled for completion in June. As we move into the final phase, work will transition to interior finishes, including furniture, equipment, artwork, and a suspended aircraft feature in the lobby. A ribbon cutting is anticipated in late summer. 🎉 We’re proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Woodhill Station East, the third phase in the transformation of Cleveland’s Buckeye-Woodhill neighborhood! As General Contractors, our Multi-Family Housing Group is thrilled to deliver this development for The Community Builders, Inc. and Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), in collaboration with City Architecture. This project adds 64 new high-quality apartment homes across a range of affordability levels, along with new ground-floor commercial space designed to encourage continued growth and investment in the neighborhood. Woodhill Station East marks another important step in CMHA’s larger plan to create approximately 640 mixed-income housing units on Cleveland’s east side. 🎉 We are thrilled to announce that three new team members have joined the Marous Brothers Construction family! 🏗️ Zack Veselick — Project Manager, Multi‑Family Housing Group Zack joins MBC following an outstanding 21‑year career in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the Navy’s construction unit. Over the course of his career, Zack advanced from apprentice to superintendent and ultimately spent many years working as a project manager. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership from American Military University and brings a disciplined, mission‑driven approach to leading complex projects. 🏗️ Kirby Louks — Superintendent, Construction Management Group Kirby brings a strong background in construction leadership, with years of experience serving as a Director of Construction. Trained as an Inside Wireman, Kirby worked his way into management and has held roles including Superintendent, Project Manager, Owner’s Representative, and Director. His broad industry perspective and leadership experience make him a valuable addition to our CM team. 🏗️ Ron Ricketson — Superintendent, Multi‑Family Housing Group Ron brings more than 25 years of commercial construction experience, with a background as both a Union Carpenter and Superintendent. He has spent much of his career leading fast‑track retail and tenant improvement projects and is returning to Marous Brothers Construction after previously working with us as a carpenter in 2012. We’re excited to welcome Ron back to the MBC team. 🏗️ Marous Brothers Construction was proud to celebrate a major milestone with The Music Settlement at the groundbreaking of its transformative campus expansion in Cleveland’s University Circle! This $12 million project will restore and expand the historic Gries House into the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Music House—growing the facility from 13,000-SF to 17,000-SF, increasing teaching spaces and effectively doubling instructional capacity. 🎶 Designed by Process Creative Studios and Perspectus Architecture, the expansion will deliver professionally sound-dampened classrooms, a community technology lab equipped with entrepreneurial music tools and production technology, and new spaces that welcome students, artists, and neighbors through the power of music. Our Construction Management Group has broken ground on the $60 million Mercedes‑Benz of Cleveland West and Porsche Cleveland West campus in partnership with Rafih Auto Group and Vocon as architect. Located west of Cleveland in Avon, Ohio, the new state‑of‑the‑art campus will become the future home of both luxury dealerships, creating a new chapter in luxury automotive retail for Northeast Ohio. Scheduled to open in November 2027, the campus underscores Rafih Auto Group’s long‑term investment in elevating the luxury automotive experience in Greater Cleveland.
