AI literacy in learning means more than knowing how to use a tool. It means helping students understand what AI is, where it shows up, what to question, and what responsible use looks like. That takes educators who are willing to engage, experiment, and lead those conversations in real time. National AI Literacy Day is also a useful reminder for those building learning products. If educators are not considered in how AI tools are designed, introduced, and supported, the gap between product and practice only grows.
