MC Challenge #4 is live, and this one is a little different! In celebration of Mighty Studio launching, we're shifting the focus from styling to interaction design. Your mission is to build a custom interactive block in Studio — something you wish Rise already had. A reimagined accordion, a fresh take on tabs or timelines, or something completely new that you've been itching to create. The judging criteria says a lot about what we're looking for: intentional design, creativity, usability, and reusability. We want interactions that solve a real problem for learners, not just ones that look nice. A few key dates to know: — Submissions open now through Friday, June 12th at 11:59pm EST — After Party recap on Wednesday, June 17th at 2pm EST One winner takes home a $50 Visa gift card and a one-year Mighty subscription. And even if you don't win, your interaction gets added to the growing Mighty Studio library — a real, discoverable piece you can point to in your portfolio. No Studio access due to work restrictions? You can still participate with a mockup, sketch, or concept walkthrough. We want your ideas regardless. MC Challenges are free and open to Maestro Community members. This month's Mighty Meetup was a Studio deep dive and we saved it for you. John Pinkster's full walkthrough is worth watching even if you caught it live — lots of good stuff to revisit. Check out the post below for the recording!
This month’s Mighty Meetup: Studio Edition was a big one and we’ve got you covered with a recording to watch it back again and again! 🎉 Mighty Meetups are our monthly webinars for Rise and Mighty creators hosted by Mighty’s friendly neighborhood developer, John Pinkster. They are your chance to catch up on recently released features you might have missed, get a sneak peek at upcoming releases, and see how fellow learning creators are using Mighty to solve challenges and improve their courses. Every session wraps up with a live demo, allowing Mighty newbies to see Mighty in action and explore how it can level up your design process. At our meetup this month, John Pinkster shared an entire walkthrough of Mighty Studio and it's worth the re-watch below 👇 Link in the comments to explore Mighty Studio! https://lnkd.in/g_WZtKh7

If there was ever a Mighty Meetup to show up for, this is it. Mighty Studio just launched and John Pinkster is walking through everything live. Don't miss it on Tuesday, May 26th at 12:30pm EST!
Mighty Studio just launched, and this month's Mighty Meetup is basically the welcome party 🎉 If you've been curious about what Studio actually is, how it works, and what it makes possible in Rise, this is the best place to get the full picture. John Pinkster, Mighty's friendly neighborhood developer, is walking through everything live — how Studio helps you build, remix, and customize interactives with AI and no coding required, how reusable templates and editable forms work, what's inside the new Discover tab, and where things are headed next. Beyond the walkthrough, you'll get to see real workflows in action, explore ready-to-customize interactives from the Mighty team and community, and ask your questions while everything is still fresh and new. There's something really valuable about being in the room at the start of something! Whether you're already a Mighty user or just Studio-curious, this one is worth showing up for and it's open to everyone. Join us on Tuesday, May 26th at 12:30pm EST. Building Storyline components to push your Rise content is not the answer! I have one though, and it will blow your mind 🤯 We've been building a Mighty Studio that allows you to take your ideas, and with a simple prompt (and YOUR AI), get that Interactive created and TEMPLATIZED for other IDs to take advantage of. No more burning your AI tokens for content changes 🤯 🙌 Did I mention that our community also is sharing interactives they've built with each other?!? You don't even need to develop your own interactives!! (like the 5th Flipcard version 😅) .. The list is already as big as the native Rise blocks and is growing quickly every day! #LearningAndDevelopment #eLearning #InstructionalDesign #LearningDesign #ArticulateRise #CustomInteractives #MightyStudio

"Just put it online" is where a lot of virtual training goes wrong. When a global hospitality brand came to us needing two distinct workshops — hotel operations and lifestyle brand leadership — combined into a single virtual program, replicating what worked in person wasn't the answer. The real question was what the experience should look like when you build it for the virtual format from the start, with real reflection, application, and behavior change in mind. That's the project we're unpacking at Project Spotlight Live on Thursday, May 21 at 2pm EST. It's a behind-the-scenes look at the strategy, the builds, and the decisions that shaped the final experience. We'll get into how we designed hands-on virtual experiences anchored by a multi-week capstone, how "less time away from the job" became a design feature rather than a limitation, why we built for leaders to think and decide rather than follow a rulebook, and how peer collaboration and video brought the experiential heart of the original training into a virtual format. If you're navigating how to take in-person training online without flattening it, this one's worth 45 minutes of your Thursday! Project Spotlight Live is free and exclusive to Maestro Community members — join MC and grab your spot. Do you sometimes feel like you're barely getting by with your design skills in Rise? It makes sense — most of us are trained instructional designers, not graphic designers. That's why we built Art School! An on-demand, self-paced visual design training course built for Rise creators, by Rise creators. There's a real difference between building in Rise and designing in Rise, and Art School is where that shift happens. It's where you train your eye so your work starts to look intentional, cohesive, and genuinely high-end — not just functional. Here's what's inside: — 9 self-paced modules, built directly in Rise — 20+ step-by-step video lessons — 30+ hands-on practice exercises — 12 bonus resources — A 3-month Mighty subscription or credit — Access to live Drop-In Coaching sessions Link to enroll is in the comments! #LDCreators #InstructionalDesign #ElearningDesign #ArticulateRise

Discovery meetings are great — until suddenly everyone has input, the scope is expanding, and you're solving for the loudest opinions in the room instead of the right problem. Our Senior Learning Strategist Morgan Gardner has been thinking a lot about that messy middle moment, and she shared something in Maestro Community recently that reframed how we talk about it: treating alignment as a deliverable instead of something you hope happens organically in the room. The idea is simple. After initial discovery, come back with a clear point of view: — Here's what we heard — Here's what matters most for the learner and the business — Here's what we're prioritizing, and what we're not That shift from open discussion to a proposed direction changes the whole conversation. Stakeholders are reacting to something concrete instead of piling more onto the list. And when things start drifting back toward opinion-based decisions, that's usually the signal to validate with quick learner conversations, early prototypes, or lightweight feedback loops before full development kicks off. Morgan asked the MC community how they're approaching this after discovery — whether they formalize it in a doc, workshop it live, or present a recommendation and react from there. It's a great thread if stakeholder alignment is something you're navigating right now. Every L&D team has gotten this request at some point: take the in-person training and put it online. What happens next is where things get interesting. When a major global hospitality brand came to us needing two distinct workshops merged into a single virtual program — one focused on hotel operations, the other on leading a lifestyle brand — the answer wasn't to adapt what already existed. It meant rethinking the experience from the ground up. That's exactly what we're unpacking at this month's Project Spotlight Live on Thursday, May 21 at 2pm EST. We'll walk through how we took two separate programs and built something cohesive, cohort-based, and designed for real behavior change — not just content completion. A few things we'll get into: — How we moved beyond replicating in-person activities to design virtual experiences that actually work — The way "less time away from the job" became a design constraint we leaned into rather than fought against — Why we designed for leaders to think for themselves instead of follow a rulebook, and how that shaped every decision — How assignments, peer collaboration, and video brought the experiential heart of the original training to life online These sessions are always open, detailed, and worth showing up for. The Timeline block just got a whole lot more interesting. One small code snippet can go a surprisingly long way, and this is a great example of what Mighty unlocks in Rise. It's time to see the Timeline block in Rise in a whole new way. ⏰ Would you believe that this beautiful little design was accomplished in Rise with just a simple code snippet to remove the excess padding that's usually baked in? 🤯 Check out the video in the comments for a quick tutorial to replicate this in your own courses with Mighty! #Rise #eLearning #Articulate #ArticulateRise #LearningDesign #CorporateTraining #LandD #VibeCoding
