Updates

  • Tuesdays in June at 12pm Eastern Time John Pinkster will be holding Mighty Studio Office Hours! Don't miss out on this opportunity to ask all of the early questions you have. Link in the comments to RSVP 👇

  • This month’s Mighty Meetup: Studio Edition was a big one and we’ve got you covered with a recording to watch it back again and again! 🎉 Mighty Meetups are our monthly webinars for Rise and Mighty creators hosted by Mighty’s friendly neighborhood developer, John Pinkster. They are your chance to catch up on recently released features you might have missed, get a sneak peek at upcoming releases, and see how fellow learning creators are using Mighty to solve challenges and improve their courses. Every session wraps up with a live demo, allowing Mighty newbies to see Mighty in action and explore how it can level up your design process. At our meetup this month, John Pinkster shared an entire walkthrough of Mighty Studio and it's worth the re-watch below 👇 Link in the comments to explore Mighty Studio! https://lnkd.in/g_WZtKh7

  • Mighty Studio is here, and it changes what's possible in Rise in a pretty significant way! Studio gives you access to 70+ ready-to-use interactive templates that drop directly into Rise and customize just like native blocks. Swap in your text, images, and colors through simple editable forms — no coding, no rebuilding from scratch, just more time on the parts of your work that actually need your brain. Here's a taste of what's already inside: — Customizable flashcards with media support and completion tracking — Advanced interactive column layouts — Mini accordions with icons and media — Editorial layouts and testimonial sliders — PDF viewers, YouTube players, Synthesia embeds, and more The library is growing too, with new templates being added by the Mighty team and community creators regularly. And if you want to build your own custom interactions, Studio makes that easier than ever using plain-language AI prompts — still no code required. We put together an overview video if you want to see it in action first. That plus a link to start your free 30-day trial are both in the comments!

Mighty Studio just launched, and this month's Mighty Meetup is basically the welcome party 🎉 If you've been curious about what Studio actually is, how it works, and what it makes possible in Rise, this is the best place to get the full picture. John Pinkster, Mighty's friendly neighborhood developer, is walking through everything live — how Studio helps you build, remix, and customize interactives with AI and no coding required, how reusable templates and editable forms work, what's inside the new Discover tab, and where things are headed next. Beyond the walkthrough, you'll get to see real workflows in action, explore ready-to-customize interactives from the Mighty team and community, and ask your questions while everything is still fresh and new. There's something really valuable about being in the room at the start of something! Whether you're already a Mighty user or just Studio-curious, this one is worth showing up for and it's open to everyone. Join us on Tuesday, May 26th at 12:30pm EST. Mighty Studio is officially here! And Brianna wasted absolutely no time getting into it. Those circular flashcard layouts over an image background? 😍 Dropping these *directly* into our next Rise build. See it for yourself in the post below and check out the link to jump into Mighty Studio in the comments!

Anyone else keep a "sketchbook" course in Rise? 🙋♀️ I love trying new layouts and toying with blocks in a place that can just stay messy. This week, I was in my sketchbook tweaking the Flashcard template for Mighty Studio AND designing with it all at once—this little video clip shows some variations I came up with! This block does have rectangle and square card options, but I loved these circular layouts the most. It looks reaaaally nice as a single flippable object over an image background 😍 I'm excited to see how this "sketch" will inform my future course builds—it's in the new Mighty Studio now if you want to put it to use too!

  • We love to hear it 👏 👏 👏

I did something today that is SO COOL if you're working in Articulate Rise...but that's admittedly a bit niche. So, here's a translation for both audiences: 💼 For non-Rise speakers I'm constantly wishing for more time doing creative work, so I'm always trying to optimize everything else—and today I did that via vibe-coding! An admin task that once could amount to dozens of clicks, now takes only a few. Three cheers for reducing friction in your workflow so you can focus on what matters most! 🤩 🖥️ For my fellow Rise creators YOU GUYS we can unlock all our gated Continue buttons at once with a single code snippet now—no more clicking through that scenario for the 30th time just to check out the changes you made later in the lesson! Same for your reviewers: they can easily bypass those gates as needed, while a little badge lets them know which buttons will actually be gated in the final course. It only works in Preview/Review modes, so your published SCORM will be gated as intended. 🤩 📽️ I posted a video in Maestro Community today if you'd like to see how it works!

  • Want to build custom cover pages that look less like eLearning and more editorial? This recent addition to Really Good Rise Courses in Maestro Community is a great place to start 👇 Our latest build is an editorial-style onboarding experience that treats the whole thing like a story worth moving through — think dark, textured sections shifting into warm neutrals to create natural chapters, typography doing real narrative work, and a timeline that actually invites exploration instead of just sitting there. A few things worth paying attention to when you explore it: — Pacing and color create a sense of progression that feels intentional rather than automatic — Scale, spacing, and type weight help certain moments land harder while keeping everything open and breathable — The Mighty Interactives Columns block (a sneak peek from Mighty Studio!) shows up throughout for the Vision, Mission, and Values sections and the leadership layout, keeping those moments flexible and visual If you've been thinking about how to push onboarding past the default Rise experience, there's a lot to borrow here. The full course and a behind-the-build walkthrough video are both waiting for you in Maestro Community. It's time to see the Timeline block in Rise in a whole new way. ⏰ Would you believe that this beautiful little design was accomplished in Rise with just a simple code snippet to remove the excess padding that's usually baked in? 🤯 Check out the video in the comments for a quick tutorial to replicate this in your own courses with Mighty! #Rise #eLearning #Articulate #ArticulateRise #LearningDesign #CorporateTraining #LandD #VibeCoding

  • It was great meeting you all at Learning Technologies—thanks for spending time with the Mighty team. If you saw the demos, you already know: things are moving fast for Mighty. Activate your free trial today and start building things in Rise that normally take way more time, tools, and workarounds. Link is in the comments. 👉 Your trial is the best way to get started and be ready for what’s coming next!

Had a great time at Learning Technologies today. No surprise that AI was the main theme across just about everything. It was brilliant to finally meet the Mighty crew in person after being part of the community online for quite some time. Seeing the plugin and Template Studio demoed in the seminar really brought to life just how far things have come in the design space. Mighty plugin continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Rise turning what was once a fairly constrained tool into something far more flexible, creative, and powerful. Exciting to see where the Template Studio will take this next...John Pinkster Mighty Nate Norman

We love when a pet peeve turns into a tutorial! Watch how Maestro senior LXD Brianna vibe coded a quick fix to the extra padding for Rise's timeline block—this is one that any learning creator can follow and use! 👇

Work alongside me as I vibe-code a solution to my BIGGEST pet peeve in Rise: the extra padding around the ⬜ Timeline block ⬜ Sounds trivial, but I lean hard on padding hierarchy to do invisible work in my courses—tight spacing between related ideas, generous spacing between topics. The Timeline block's baked-in padding makes that hierarchy impossible to fully control, which kept me from using it for things like the subtopic cards you'll see in the video. (Step cards? Subtopic intros? I don't know what to call them 😅—open to suggestions!) Spoiler: one well-written prompt got the job done. The trick was what I sent with the prompt—I'll show you in the video: 📽️ https://lnkd.in/eDMtFQhx Want the finished Mighty code snippet (plus a whole library of others)? Come join us in Maestro Community! Link in the comments. 🤗
