  • Most timekeeping software treats the timesheet as finished. We never have. The lawyers and accountants who live in it are why. They piece together their days from memory. They miss things. They do their time at 9pm when they'd rather be doing anything else. At Laurel, that's a problem we work on every month. Swipe through to see what we built in May →

We're proud to announce that GableGotwals has selected Laurel as its AI Time platform. GableGotwals will deploy Laurel across all 120 timekeepers firmwide, establishing a single platform for automating time capture, improving activity code accuracy, and giving leadership real-time visibility into how legal services are performed. “Our evaluation was deliberate and thorough. As we continue investing in innovation across the firm, we sought an AI-powered platform that could transform the traditionally burdensome task of timekeeping into a smarter, more strategic process. We needed a platform that could seamlessly integrate into the way our attorneys work, capture time with great accuracy, and deliver meaningful insight into how legal services are performed. Laurel stood out for the strength of its AI, the quality of the team, and the clarity of the value it delivers.” - John Dale, Chairman and CEO at GableGotwals Read the full announcement here → https://lnkd.in/eesermPi

We're proud to announce that McDonald Hopkins LLC has selected Laurel as its firmwide AI Time platform. McDonald Hopkins will deploy Laurel across all 220 fee earners and six offices, establishing a single platform for capturing time and understanding how work happens across practices, matters, and locations. After a thorough, market-wide evaluation—including established time and billing vendors—McDonald Hopkins chose Laurel as the platform best positioned to automate time capture, enforce narrative compliance, and give leadership real-time visibility across the firm. “We evaluated the market carefully and Laurel stood out for its ability to capture time automatically and increase the visibility we have been missing across our practices. Our attorneys invest real effort in their work, and it is important that every hour is captured accurately and structured in a way that meets client expectations. We are excited to get started.” - Jim Stief, Co-President at McDonald Hopkins Read the full announcement here → https://lnkd.in/ezmKnk_3

  • One month after launching Laurel firm-wide, Cassiday Schade LLP saw administrative burden drop by at least 30% across both partners and the billing team. But the number is just the surface. Underneath it: fewer pre-bill edits. Faster turnaround. Accelerated collections. Less revenue leakage. Outside counsel guidelines ingested in bulk, with custom rules that prompt timekeepers to stay compliant before a single bad entry reaches review. A billing process that, in the words of Jasmin Ibrahimovic simply runs more smoothly.

  • Without visibility into how work actually gets done, every AI investment is a bet, not a decision. In our latest fireside chat, Tom Barry, Managing Partner at GHJ and Eric Zaarour, Co-founder at Laurel, unpacked why the metrics firms have relied on for decades are no longer telling the full story, what the gap between assumption and reality actually costs, and what the right order of operations looks like before deploying AI. Fantastic day at LegalTech in Leeds with Claire Zucker, MSW and Mary Rychlik. So great to touch base with so many faces, old and new. I can't stress how much we love meeting regional firms in person across the UK. The pace at which innovation is spreading across all corners of the country is amazing to watch. Can't wait for the next one!! 🤝 P.S. DM me if you want a Laurel stress ball for the upcoming World Cup. Legend has it they were VERY popular in Leeds amongst the Brits... #ai #aitimecapture #laurel #legaltech #leeds #legaltechinleeds #timeintelligence #enterprise

  • Most efficiency conversations in professional services firms rarely go beyond the department level. A new tool here, a process tweak there, none of it connected to a broader view of where time goes and what it costs when it disappears. This customer came to Laurel already thinking strategically. They knew efficiency wasn't a one-quarter fix and put it directly in their five-year plan. That kind of clarity tends to produce very different outcomes. Strategy starts with knowing where your time actually goes.
