Spend your summer building something that matters. We’re bringing back the IU Innovates Summer Innovation Internship for the second time—an 8-week, paid, in-person program for IU students and recent grads to stay in Bloomington and work on an innovation—technical, social, artistic, or otherwise. Last summer, students built real solutions, tested ideas, and helped shape what this program could become. This year, we’re building on that momentum with a team-based program—forming teams around selected ideas and problem statements. No idea? No problem. You do not need an existing project to apply. What you get: • Up to $3,200 stipend • 1:1 coaching + structured programming • Curated connections and resources • A collaborative, in-person innovation environment What to expect: • ~20 hours/week working from the Von Lee • Team-based progress toward a real solution • A final deliverable tied to your project Eligibility: • Current IU students (undergrad/grad/PhD) or Spring 2026 grads • Experience working on an innovation (past or present) • Must live in Bloomington May 20 – July 15 (fully in-person) • Open to domestic & international students • IU takes no equity or IP 📅 Apply by: April 6 at 11:59 PM 📩 Questions: tjparmer@iu.edu If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to start something—this is it. https://lnkd.in/g5HqpFPf

Interested in joining a team of builders and change makers? Check out our new internship opportunity!
🚀 I’m hiring a summer intern at IU Innovates — and this isn’t your typical internship. If you’re someone who wants to build real solutions to real problems, this could be for you. At IU Innovates, we’re working alongside students, faculty, and community leaders to turn ideas into action. This summer, that could mean helping design solutions to societal challenges in Bloomington, supporting student founders as they launch ventures, or building programs that create opportunity across Indiana. You won’t just observe — you’ll contribute, build, and problem-solve. How to apply: 1️⃣ Review the job description and click “Apply for Job” 2️⃣ Create an account (if needed) 3️⃣ Submit your application 🔗 Apply here: Non-IU applicants: https://lnkd.in/gSy9rxuf Current IU students or employees: https://lnkd.in/gKdYw8cf If you (or someone you know) wants to be part of building what doesn’t exist yet, I’d love to see your application! #IUInnovates #Entrepreneurship #Internship #SocialImpact #NowHiring
