floop just ran its first pilot session with Riffle. Riffle helps companies hire contractors and full-time designers. They have 150+ designers in their community. 2 designers got in-depth feedback on their portfolios, pinned directly to their live website. We are giving context back to designers, mentors, reviewers, and anyone who deals with feedback. Mentees can come back to their floop link anytime and see every piece of feedback exactly where it was left by the mentor. No explanation gets lost. For recruiters and design mentors, that's a portfolio deep-dive that actually lands and is easier to comprehend (than screen recordings and long descriptive texts). flooping feedback helps, by a huge margin! We've added feedback minimaps in floop Great products are an outcome of zillions of careful iterations for their users. 2025 was a year of hustle for floop A lot of assumptions were tested and a few pivots were made throughout the year. As we believe in building-in-public, here's the "year in review" for floop. 270+ cold outreach (171 emails and 100+ messages) were made to varying level of designers to get feedback from them and test floop. 52 designers in total (junior, mid-level and senior) were interviewed to make floop better for fellow designers. We spent more than 10,000+ hours and made more than 1000 micro and mega changes from changing the button labels to redesigning the whole dashboard view. Luckily (with some efforts) we have 42 designers on the waitlist to use floop when we beta launch (not a huge number, but it's a start). floop is where you can get feedback to make your portfolio unignorable with the collaborative efforts of you, your peers and your mentors. floop's north star is to be independent & bootstrapped by the end of 2026 year-in-review.
