Infleqtion has been awarded a contract for the Missile Defense Agency Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, encompassing a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility. Infleqtion’s SHIELD IDIQ contract further extends its progress in government programs, including: - Collaboration with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration to fly the world’s first quantum gravity sensor in space - A contract from the US Army to strengthen its delivery of resilient navigation and timing data in adversarial environments - Progress executing its contract under the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s ARPA-E ENCODE program Our team is committed to its collaboration with government agencies to extend the United States’ leadership in critical quantum innovations.

Infleqtion welcomed Sweden's Quantum Delegation to the UK this week for some impactful discussions on quantum sovereignty and collaboration. The delegation visited the National Quantum Computing Centre to see our 100-qubit Sqale platform and spent time at our Oxford offices exploring our quantum computing, Superstaq software, and quantum sensing technologies. Representatives from leading Swedish universities, industry, and government expressed strong interest in how neutral atom quantum technology can advance Sweden's research ecosystem and enable the leaps they need in deploying world-leading applications. Infleqtion Senior Quantum Software Engineer Benjamin Hall co-authored a paper introducing Infleqtion’s newest compilation algorithm, Quantum Depth Compression (QDC).   QDC compiles circuits to depth linear in the number of non-Clifford gates and efficiently maps them to grid-constrained hardware without SWAP gates, all while keeping CNOT counts competitive with standard approaches.   Read the pre-print on arXiv to learn more about this practical step toward scalable, hardware-aware quantum software 👇

Infleqtion is one of six finalists in the Quantum for Bio Challenge (Q4Bio), Wellcome Leap’s 30-month competition to demonstrate quantum computing’s potential to advance human health. Working with the University of Chicago and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Infleqtion team developed a quantum algorithm that optimizes massive medical datasets containing possible cancer signatures and optimize them for classical processing.
