Earlier this month, the IHOP social team, led by David Garcia and Janine Davis, MS, hosted a lunch and learn for the wider IHOP team to share insights and strategies around our new approach to social media. The session was a deep dive into the ever-evolving social media landscape, packed with insights and strategies about our innovative new approach. We explored the diverse ways we all engage with social media and uncovered the strategy behind how our team spots and jumps in on the hottest trends. It was an inspiring and energizing experience for everyone involved!

March is IHOP’s Month of Giving and to support IHOP Team Members spent the day giving back to the communities we serve. To support IHOP’s Month of Giving, Sunshine Restaurant Partners - IHOP West Regional leaders spent time volunteering at Feeding Tampa Bay Food Bank, a Feeding America partner. Together with other volunteers, the team sorted donations and packed enough food to serve 9,125 meals to families facing food insecurity in the greater Tampa area.   As we continue to support Feeding America during our Month of Giving, we are reminded of the impact we can achieve together in our local communities. It’s official! IHOP broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most pancakes served in an eight-hour period last weekend in celebration of National Pancake Day. Led by Chef Arthur Carl and the IHOP culinary team, we served 25,629 of our world-famous pancakes on the Santa Monica Pier to 8,543 guests! For every pancake served, IHOP also donated $1 to Feeding America, totaling $25,629 directly supporting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and its fight to end hunger in Los Angeles County. Congrats to the whole IHOP team for making this National Pancake Day one for the books!   We invite everyone to join us on National Pancake Day tomorrow to celebrate with a free Short Stack at participating restaurants from 7 am – 8 pm!
