Record-Breaking Engagement at the IEEE Career Fair – Latin America 2026 | An extraordinary milestone for the engineering community across Latin America. The IEEE Career Fair - Latin America delivered unprecedented participation and interaction, reflecting the strength, diversity, and momentum of the region’s workforce. 📊 3,449 job seekers actively engaged 🏢 68 registered companies connecting with top talent 🌎 23 countries represented across Latin America 🎤 17 sessions & roundtables focused on workforce development and career growth 🎙️ 20 distinguished speakers sharing industry expertise But these numbers only tell part of the story. This event was the result of deep collaboration across IEEE, bringing together IEEE Region 9 leadership, the IEEE Industry Engagement Committee, IEEE Technical Activities, and strong participation from IEEE Societies including IEEE Computer Society (CS), IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS), IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS), and IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). We were especially proud to feature Industry-Hosted Roundtables led by Uber and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), creating meaningful dialogue between industry leaders and emerging talent. Throughout the day, powerful sessions addressed workforce development, AI, industry-academia collaboration, future skills, and career growth across Latin America. The platform remained highly dynamic, with live recruiter conversations, networking lounges, panel discussions, and real-time cross-border connections. What unfolded was more than a career fair. It became a festival of talent and industry connection.
