Is luxury at a turning point? Our luxury team recently hosted a Front Row dinner in London, led by Caroline Pill, global sector leader for luxury, and Charlotte Reeve, principal and member of the global luxury practice, bringing together senior female leaders from across fashion, beauty and lifestyle to discuss the future of the industry. The conversation was clear and candid: 👉 Growth is no longer guaranteed 👉 Over-distribution is diluting desirability 👉 Authenticity, creativity and cultural relevance are becoming the new drivers of value As consumers become more informed — and as the next generation redefines what is aspirational — luxury brands are being challenged to rethink their foundations: from scale to storytelling, from product to purpose, from data to instinct. A big thank you to all who joined us for an evening of honest dialogue and fresh perspectives — with more to come from The Front Row series. #Luxury #ConsumerMarkets #Leadership #FutureOfLuxury

Earlier this month, in partnership with 30% Club UK, we convened 16 FTSE Chairs and Senior Independent Directors in London for a dinner and discussion focused on one of the most pressing questions in UK leadership today: how to increase the number of women reaching CEO roles in the FTSE 100. Over the past fifteen years, the UK has made significant progress in improving female representation on boards. But translating that progress into the top executive role remains an unfinished challenge. Our conversation explored what it will take to replicate the momentum seen at board level and build a deeper, more sustainable pipeline of future female CEOs. It was a rich and candid discussion, touching on the structural barriers that still exist, the actions boards can take to shape stronger leadership pipelines, and the responsibility Chairs and directors hold in driving meaningful change within their organizations. We left the evening energized by the openness and commitment in the room, and by the shared recognition that progress at the very top requires deliberate, collective action. This dinner was the second in a series of conversations we are hosting with The 30% Club, following our February gathering at LSEG. Thank you to Kirsty Osborne, Kit Bingham, and our partners at The 30% Club for their continued collaboration, and to all the leaders who contributed their insight and perspective on the night.

As boards assess their future composition, the challenge is becoming clear: AI expertise can’t be added quickly enough through hiring alone. Increasingly, boards will need to develop that fluency from within—equipping directors to oversee strategy, risk, and value creation in real time. In today’s environment, leadership decisions are shaped by complexity, uncertainty, and competing priorities.
