🚀 gener8tor Founder Series Spotlight: Anurag Kamal, ElectricFish. This week we’re featuring Anurag Kamal, Co-Founder and CEO of ElectricFish, a San Carlos, California-based energy company building a distributed electrical grid through intelligent battery systems. ElectricFish deploys 400-kilowatt-hour batteries that store energy when it is cheapest or cleanest and export it back to the grid during peak demand, enabling ultra-fast EV charging without straining existing infrastructure. Anurag participated in the U.S. Venture Sustainability Accelerator Powered by gener8tor in 2025. For him, the experience was about proximity and perspective. Being in person in Appleton alongside other founders created space for organic problem-solving, especially around financial modeling and capital structure. The program also provided direct exposure to how a vertically integrated energy company operates, offering practical insight into scaling within a complex industry. Today, ElectricFish has deployed units across six US cities, partnering with utilities and major automotive OEMs to fund early deployments. The team is assembling and testing systems in their Bay Area facility while preparing to scale manufacturing in the Midwest. As they continue piloting with gas station partners, the long-term vision remains clear: rebuild the grid from the ground up through distributed energy assets. 💡 Anurag insight “You need to break down complex concepts in a very simple way. Stop the urge to make it complex.” 📣 Anurag’s ask If you are curious about how a decentralized electrical grid will work or want to better understand the future of distributed energy, connect with Anurag and follow ElectricFish’s journey. A special thank you to our partner, U.S. Venture, Inc., for making this program possible and for supporting innovative founders building the future of energy. 🎥 Watch the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/dJAuksW8
