At the Tata Chemicals trona mine in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, miners work 1,500 feet underground to extract crystalline trona that’s refined into soda ash and used to form float glass for our American-made solar modules. They’re part of the coast-to-coast supply chain that creates jobs, supports regional businesses, and maximizes the economic value of our US operations. Last year, First Solar added an estimated $13.8 billion in total economic output to the US economy, including indirect and induced effects. And that number is projected to grow to $18.4 billion by 2027. We invest in American manufacturing and American supply chains to build a stronger foundation for America’s energy independence. When we invest in American manufacturing, the economic benefits reach far and wide. In 2025, First Solar’s construction activities — anchored by the opening of our new Louisiana manufacturing facility — generated nearly $3.0 billion in estimated total economic output across the US economy, supporting thousands of workers and strengthening domestic supply chains. This is what American manufacturing momentum looks like: good-paying jobs, prosperous communities, and long-term economic value — built right here at home. America is reindustrializing and there are few better examples than First Solar's Perrysburg, Ohio, manufacturing and R&D campus, which Rep. Ro Khanna, Ranking Member of the House Select Committee on China, and Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, visited on Saturday. What they saw: American workers building world-class technology, American families benefiting from good-paying jobs, and proof that American manufacturers, backed by American supply chains, can go toe-to-toe with China on a level playing field and compete to win. Their reactions say it all.📽️ #MadeInAmerica #AmericanJobs #AmericanManufacturing #FirstSolar #AmericasSolarCompany #Reindustrialize

Today, we welcomed Rep. Ro Khanna, Ranking Member of the House Select Committee on China, and Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, to First Solar's manufacturing campus in Perrysburg, Ohio, where they got a firsthand look at American reindustrialization in action and met America's solar workers. A level playing field against China matters — for American communities and American industry. #MadeInAmerica #AmericanJobs #AmericanManufacturing #FirstSolar

American technology. American supply chain. American manufacturing. Over the past decade, we have grown our US manufacturing footprint roughly 10x and invested approximately $5 billion in domestic infrastructure. By 2027, we expect to support almost 40,000 jobs and $4 billion in labor income. That's the real opportunity with an America First energy policy: the chance to create lasting economic prosperity through reindustrialization. First Solar modules are helping to power hope in San Diego. At the Spring Valley Campus of San Diego Youth Services, a new solar carport + storage system helps stretch limited resources further so more support can go directly to young people and families who need it most. We were proud to donate the solar modules for this project, which was supported by Empowered By Light. The new installation enables San Diego Youth Services to lower its utility costs and reinvest the savings back into the vital services it provides to nearly 16,000 youth each year. #FirstSolar #AmericasSolarCompany #SolarForGood #solarpower #solarenergy #MakeADifference #endyouthhomelessness

U.S. Silica Company miners in Wayne County, Michigan, extract the high‑quality, ultra‑low‑iron silica sand that’s used to produce glass for First Solar modules. As our operations have expanded and our demand for silica sand has grown, U.S. Silica has added more good jobs at their facility. When we grow, our partners grow. High quality, well-paying jobs created and supported across manufacturing, supply chains, and local communities are all part of the approximately $3.0 billion in annual labor income that our US operations supported in 2025 — and the approximately $4.0 billion we’re projected to support by 2027. Strong jobs. Strong communities. Stronger America. 👉 https://bit.ly/41OcbFt #FirstSolar #ussilica #AmericanSolar #AmericasSolarCompany #SolarPower #SolarEnergy

Solar enables communities to keep more dollars where they belong: at home. In De Queen, Arkansas, First Solar modules help cut municipal energy costs — freeing up dollars for city parks, streets, and vital water infrastructure. By using energy from a Scenic Hill Solar project equipped with First Solar modules to trim the city’s electricity costs, De Queen is able to put the savings into the essential services that make a small town stronger. “Solar is making it possible for us to save money to be able to put back into the town to make it a better place to live.” — Jeff Brown, Mayor, De Queen, Arkansas 🎥 See how solar works for De Queen. #FirstSolar #AmericasSolarCompany #AmericanEnergy #SolarWorks #SolarPower
