About us

Autonomy is rapidly becoming central to the future of defense. From contested logistics to reconnaissance in challenging environments, mission success increasingly depends on systems that can move, adapt, and endure without constant human control. At FieldAI, our mission has always been to deliver embodied AI that works in the real world. With the launch of FieldAI Federal, a subsidiary of FieldAI, we are extending that mission to focus exclusively on government and defense applications. FieldAI Federal exists to ensure that cutting-edge autonomy is developed with the unique requirements of defense in mind — resilient, adaptable, and mission-ready from day one. Using FieldAI’s Field Foundation Models (FFMs), we can provide an embodiment-agnostic autonomy brain, enabling robots and vehicles to operate across multiple platforms (ground, aerial, and maritime) without maps, GPS, or pre-programmed paths. By making autonomy transferable across platforms, we accelerate deployment, reduce integration complexity, and support defense missions where adaptability and reliability are paramount. FieldAI Federal’s autonomy stack is designed to operate across a range of platforms, including ground vehicles, aerial systems, and maritime assets, allowing scalable deployment for diverse mission needs. Potential applications include logistics in remote or contested areas, autonomous inspection and monitoring of critical infrastructure, and enhanced disaster response operations, all supporting missions where access is limited or conditions are hazardous. By enabling systems to navigate complex environments safely and reliably, FieldAI Federal helps defense forces extend their reach, improve situational awareness, and operate more effectively in challenging conditions.
