Are slow injury reports quietly costing your business? When workplace incidents aren’t reported within 24 hours, it can trigger what many call the workers’ comp “speed tax.” Delayed reporting usually leads to: 👉 Higher medical costs 👉 Longer employee disability 👉 More attorney involvement 👉 A worse mod impact “Speed won’t fix everything, but slow reporting almost always makes it worse,” says Angie M. Tarighi, Director of Risk Services at ExtensisHR. In this #blog, Angie outlines what a best-in-class workers’ comp reporting process looks like and how a #PEO can help reduce claim severity: https://ow.ly/b9yA50YAEf6 #workerscomp #riskmanagement #humanresources #HRoutsourcing

✨ #EmployeeSpotlight: Meet Ellie Wenker, PHR, SHRM-CP, Account Manager III! ✨ Ellie is the go-to partner her clients rely on every day. As their primary point of contact and champion, she takes the time to understand their business goals and makes sure our solutions grow and adapt as their needs evolve. From service delivery and problem-solving to big-picture strategic planning and overall account performance, Ellie stays closely connected to every moving piece, supporting our customers and setting them up for success. Keep reading to learn more about Ellie, including the mindset that shapes her approach and the travel dream she’s about to check off her list. 👇 ❤️ What do you love most about working at ExtensisHR? I’ve heard incredible things about the culture at ExtensisHR from my colleagues, and my own experience has proven those comments true. ExtensisHR genuinely “walks the talk” and is truly people‑focused. I enjoy the variety in my role and the opportunity to make an immediate impact. The leadership team consistently welcomes and values feedback, even from new employees, and openly embraces seeing things through a different lens. ✈️ What’s the next place on your travel bucket list? I’m not a world traveler. I prefer exploring the incredible history and beauty found right here in the United States. Interestingly, I’ve always dreamed of visiting New York City since I was little. Now that I’m part of ExtensisHR and will have the opportunity to visit our corporate office in New Jersey this summer, I’m planning to add a few personal days to finally experience New York City for myself! I fully intend to embrace the “touristy” side of the city, seeing Times Square, catching an off‑Broadway show, and visiting Ground Zero to pay my respects. It may not seem like much to some, but this is truly a lifelong dream for me. 💭 What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? One of my former managers once told me not to view things as “issues,” but instead as opportunities. When a task comes up and you label it as an issue, you tend to react quickly, fix it, then move on to the next thing. But when you approach that same task as an opportunity, you accomplish two things: first, you correct the task itself; second and most importantly—you learn from it and explore ways to improve processes or training. The task stops feeling like a burden and becomes a chance to grow. I try to approach situations this way both professionally and personally. #LifeatExtensis #employeerecognition #companyculture #teamwork

Teacher retention is top of mind for many schools, and #employeebenefits are proving to be a powerful (but often overlooked) part of the solution. When benefits reflect what educators value, schools can strengthen satisfaction, reduce turnover, and create a more stable learning environment. Our latest #blog explores why teacher retention matters, how the right benefits can make it possible, and tips to create a competitive offering: https://ow.ly/pfqP50YrQsE #PEO #HRoutsourcing #HRforschools #benefitplans
