We are incredibly proud to keep our tradition alive, running in Ekiden PragmatIQ since 2016! Egnyters enjoyed a beautiful Sunday morning at Lake Malta in Poznań. Each of our teams conquered the full marathon distance! Out of 253 competing teams, we achieved fantastic results: 33rd and 103rd place! Beyond the sports rivalry, we were thrilled to be part of the charity initiative, running for a great cause. Huge congrats to all our runners for their amazing team spirit! 🤝

"AI models can win a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad but cannot reliably tell time—an example of what researchers call the jagged frontier of AI." - Stanford HAI 2026 AI Index Report. Read the insightful take by Amrit Jassal based on the Stanford study, where he talks about structured orchestration to realize the true value of AI.
Great insights in the Stanford HAI 2026 AI Index Report. The concept of jagged intelligence is highly relevant for anyone building enterprise software today. AI models possess incredible reasoning capabilities, yet they remain notoriously fragile when it comes to deterministic, simple tasks like exact data retrieval or calculation. To bridge this gap, we can't rely on a single monolithic model. The secret is 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧": Large models that leverage deep understanding to interpret intent, reason through ambiguity, and map out an execution plan. 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 & 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬": Smaller, targeted APIs, code-execution environments, and fine-tuned models that execute specific tasks with 100% predictability. Let’s look at an example of this compound architecture in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭: Are the structural steel submittals for Sector B approved and matching our latest architectural designs? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬: The reasoning model acts as the project manager. It recognizes the need to find specific project files, extract metadata, and compare version dates. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞: Instead of guessing, it delegates file retrieval to a deterministic system (using specialized OCR and embedding models). 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜: To figure out which file is the latest, it passes the metadata to a precise date-comparison tool or triggers a BIM geometry solver to check design alignment. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬: The large model takes the accurate, verified data points and drafts a coherent response back to the user. By structuring workflows this way, we transform a probabilistic technology into a robust, reliable, and enterprise-grade asset. A link to the study by Stanford is available in the first comment.

While many industry narratives suggest automation will replace human developers, we are using AI to scale engineering capacity while keeping people firmly in the loop. Across our team, advanced coding tools help compress learning curves and accelerate onboarding for our newest team members. By treating AI as supportive infrastructure rather than a replacement risk, we can protect our future senior talent pipeline without losing human judgment and accountability. That is what Life at Egnyte is all about. 💪 Amrit Jassal

Most RIA aggregators master financial and legal diligence. But there's a third layer often ignored until it's too late: inherited data. Unstructured files and broken permissions don't appear on term sheets. Egnyte’s new eBook helps you identify these risks before the deal closes so you can streamline Day 1 integration. High-stakes financial decisions depend on seeing the full picture but too often, internal expertise and external research live in separate places. By connecting Egnyte to AlphaSense, firms can analyze and interrogate their own memos, decks, and data room files alongside 500M+ premium external sources, with AI agents purpose-built for complex finance and strategic workflows. Surface what matters. Eliminate blind spots. Turn data into decisions. We're excited to partner with AlphaSense to help teams get to conviction, faster.

Our Egnyte India team recently had the privilege of volunteering with the brave children and families at the Access Life Cancer Foundation in Pune. While we hoped to bring some joy to their day, it quickly transformed into an unforgettable lesson in resilience, optimism, and true courage for our entire team. At Egnyte, we believe giving back is not just a corporate responsibility checklist, but a vital way to build meaningful human connections. Most organizations have AI running somewhere in their business. Most are also still waiting for it to actually pay off. The gap isn't the AI. It's what's underneath it—content that isn't structured, governed, or wired into the workflows that matter. On June 11, Egnyte's product leaders are going live to show exactly how we're closing that gap. Real demos. What's shipped. What's coming next. If your AI strategy feels like it's missing a piece, this might be it. Register now using the link in the comments. 👇
