Happy Earth Day! Senior environmental engineer Hiroko Yoshida and her family planted 200 white pine trees planted part of oak savanna restoration efforts. They also planted 100 swamp white oaks in a forest hit hard by emerald ash borers. She says, "It is our family project to remind ourselves to respect what the experts figured out in the past (tree tubes work!), be a shepherd of the land, and be patient and hopeful."
