As part of our efforts to fight food insecurity, we’re proud to expand access to affordable grocery delivery with the addition of SNAP/EBT payment capabilities to Family Dollar stores on DoorDash. With this expansion, SNAP recipients across the country can now use their benefits to order eligible groceries and everyday essentials from more than 7,000 Family Dollar stores. Recent DoorDash research shows SNAP users on DoorDash are twice as likely to live in food deserts compared to non-SNAP users, highlighting the important role delivery can play in bridging geographic barriers and increasing access to essentials. This collaboration reflects DoorDash and Family Dollar’s shared commitment to making everyday shopping easier, more accessible, and more convenient for communities nationwide.
