We’re excited to share progress on the City of Tracy I-580 & International Parkway/Patterson Road Interchange project in Tracy, California! This project will transform the existing compact diamond interchange into a diverging diamond interchange (DDI) to accommodate increasing traffic demand associated with the Cordes Ranch Specific Plan development and surrounding growth. Designed to improve mobility now and into the future, the new interchange will help reduce congestion, improve traffic flow throughout the corridor, divert highway traffic away from local roadways, and enhance safety for motorists. The community of Bowie, Maryland, recently came together to celebrate the grand opening of Hill House at Beechfield, a new senior living facility designed to support adults aged 62 and older with affordable, accessible, and quality housing. Our firm provided land planning, landscape architecture, site/civil engineering, and surveying for the development, which brings 150 apartments to residents in Prince George’s County. We are excited to share that U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has selected our firm to deliver topographic lidar for the entire state of Mississippi. Under a Geospatial Products and Services Contract (GPSC), our team will acquire and process Quality Level 1 topographic lidar for approximately 48,000 square miles within a three-year timespan. This $12-million project supports the national 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) initiative, and will provide Mississippi with a high-fidelity, high accuracy lidar inventory to be used for flood mitigation efforts, coastal resilience planning, emergency management, and long-term infrastructure development. Our firm is proud to announce that we will be leading design efforts for the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s first design-build project—the replacement of the Route 50 Bridge over Cedar Swamp Creek in Cape May County, New Jersey. Announced by Governor Mikie Sherrill and NJDOT Commissioner Priya Jain, this critical coastal evacuation route will be upgraded through a streamlined delivery approach designed to accelerate timelines, reduce risk, and enhance long-term resilience. The $47.7 million project will modernize the 65-year-old structure with improved safety features, including wider lanes, shoulders, and a new sidewalk to better serve the community. Executive Vice President John Boulé shared, “We’re honored to be the lead designer on the first NJDOT design build project. Dewberry is committed to delivering well so our partners, Agate Construction Co Inc., A. Servidone Inc. / B. Anthony Construction Corp.
