For years, least privilege sounded like a solved problem. It is not. Cyera Research and Oso looked at how permissions are actually used in production. This is the first time this has been measured at this scale, not based on policy or design, but on what people actually do. Most of them are never touched. That does not make them safe. It means they are sitting there, available. People tend to ignore that excess access. Agents will not. They use what they can reach, not what people usually do. 👉 Read the full research: https://lnkd.in/eiybpSZz

A long time coming—Yonatan Itai now has the title to match the role: co-founder at Cyera 🎉 He’s been here since day zero alongside Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan, before there was a product, a team, or even a category. From the earliest ideas to the platform hundreds of enterprises rely on today, he’s been right in the middle of it. He’s built and led the R&D org from the ground up, turning a simple sketch into something that’s reshaping how companies think about securing data and AI. It's a joy to recognize Yoni's leadership and critical role in Cyera 💜

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, one thing is clear: the future of AI will be shaped by the people building it. That's why we're partnering with Girls Who Code to help fuel the next generation of technical leaders - the ones who will shape how AI shows up in our businesses, our lives, and the world around us. Because if AI is going to be the best thing to happen to every organization, it matters who’s in the room building it. We’re proud to support who comes next!

RSAC has a way of going by fast. Somewhere between coffee at the Hyatt, long walks between meetings, and more conversations than we can count, the same theme kept coming up. AI is moving quickly. Most teams are still figuring out the data behind it. We went through 700 mochi donuts, handed out 300 Vessel plushies, and hosted dozens of theater sessions at the booth. More importantly, we had a lot of real conversations about what it actually takes to make AI work safely. If you stopped by, we’re glad you did. If we missed you, we’ll catch you soon. #RSAC2026

At #RSAC2026, Joe Tustin asked a simple question: how many tokens are you burning through your AI usage? Not estimates! Actual usage tied to agents, automations and assistants. Do you have a number, or are you still guessing? Give us yours below👇

The Cyera Grove After Party is calling… You made it through the sessions, now come hang with people who are still thinking about data, AI, and everything in between. 👉 Join us at the Grove: https://lnkd.in/eu2pf5qY #RSAC2026

🔥 Cyera is showing up at RSAC with what AI security actually needs next. Today’s launches close some of the biggest gaps in enterprise AI security: 🛡️ Browser Shield—See and protect every AI interaction in the browser. No more blind spots between users and AI tools. 🧬 Data Lineage for Files—Connect human and AI activity into one investigation-ready story. Know what happened, not just what triggered an alert. 🤖 Cyera MCP—Build your own data security agents to automate investigations, threat hunting, and reporting. AI is already in your environment. The question is can you see and secure its interactions with your data? If you're at RSAC, check us out at 📍 Booth [S-0654]. More on the launches 👉 https://lnkd.in/eD-JZZSZ

Overheard on the streets of San Francisco: “Do you actually know what data your AI can access?” Most teams don’t. And that becomes a real problem when tools like Copilot can pull from sensitive data that was never meant to be exposed. Linda Park and Tafi Makamure get into what’s actually changing, why visibility into data and access matters more than ever, and how teams can move forward without shutting AI down.
