We’re still processing all the great conversations, insights, and connections from this year’s Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference. What an incredible few days spent alongside so many passionate leaders committed to advancing the future of senior living and healthcare. Our team had a wonderful time getting the opportunity to connect with partners and industry peers who share our commitment to improving care for older adults. A special thank you to everyone who listened in on Dr. Timothy Puri’s panel discussion alongside LifeLoop’s Rob Fisher and Watermark Retirement CommunitiesLee Ann Collins MSN, RN. The thoughtful questions and engaging panel around social wellness, resident experience, and holistic person-centered care made for an incredibly valuable conversation. Thank you as well to the many partners who took the time to connect with our team at the conference. If we didn’t get the chance to chat, we’d still love to hear from you! Reach out to us at info@curanahealth.com.

What's the financial impact of value-based care in senior living? The results speak for themselves. When senior living communities and primary care teams align through an ACO partnership, everyone benefits. In just one year, one community experienced: - Occupancy growth from 92% to 98% - Increased average length of stay from 22 to 25 months - 29% growth in NOI driven by longer resident tenure - Reduced staff strain and turnover - Greater resident stability and stronger family communication By focusing on improved care coordination, reduced hospitalizations, and proactive clinical engagement onsite, value-based care partnerships can create meaningful operational and clinical outcomes. Explore the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) Calculator below to see the potential impact for your community. https://lnkd.in/e-PvA8Hm

Proud of what's happening at Kith Haven in Flint, Michigan. 🙌 ADK — admissions per 1,000 days — measures how often residents are sent to the hospital instead of being cared for where they belong. Since Curana Health partnered with Ciena Healthcare at Kith Haven (at the red line in the graph), we've driven it down significantly. But behind every data point is a real person. Hospitalizations are disorienting and frightening for a frail older adult. Every unnecessary admission we prevent is someone who stays safe, comfortable, and home. ❤️ It is truly a team effort led by the Administrator Dana Alexander and her entire team — the DON, nurses, aides, and everyone in between who shows up and does it right. Proud of the progress. We see the continued opportunity. We're not done. 💪 Thank you, Kith Haven. 🙏 #ValueBasedCare #SkilledNursing #SNF #PostAcuteCare #Curana Andrew Thompson, Ashley R. T., Amy La Fleur, Tasha Janssen, MSN, FNP-C, MBA, Raquel Roddy, Andrew Dahlgren, M.D., MBA - special shout out to Emily Bresnen for putting together the beautiful presentation too :)

  • There's immense value in engaging across the industry at every level. Conversations at LTC 100 offered a broader view into where the skilled nursing landscape is headed, bringing together operators, investors, and partners who are shaping long-term strategy. Those discussions continued in a more personal way during an intimate dinner we co-hosted with Clarest Health, allowing for deeper dialogue and shared perspective. At the regional level, our team’s recent presence at The South Carolina Health Care Association trade show reinforced how important it is to stay closely connected to the realities leaders are navigating in their local markets. And at the community level, a well-attended meet and greet at SearStone Retirement Community served as a powerful reminder that the most impactful insights often come from listening directly to residents and on-site teams. When insights from all three levels come together, they offer a more complete picture — one that ultimately supports smarter strategies and stronger support for the residents and communities at the center of this work.

  • On May 12, join us for a live webinar designed for senior living leaders navigating today's biggest operational and resident care challenges.   The first 30 days after move‑in represent the highest‑risk period for resident dissatisfaction, health decline, and move‑outs. In this session moderated by Argentum's + Emily O'Connor, our Senior Director of Partner Success + Kori LeCompte will be joined by Brookdale's Senior Director of Healthcare Strategy, Innovation, and Execution + Laura Rivers, MPH to share practical, actionable insights on building a wellness-driven resident journey — from admission assessments through 90-day stabilization.   Attendees will gain C-suite-level strategies to: - Strengthen resident engagement and early satisfaction - Improve length of stay and reduce avoidable escalations - Better align clinical and operational teams to ease staff burden   Link to register below! We look forward to seeing you there. https://lnkd.in/eACXJthB

  • The past several weeks have offered meaningful reminders of what makes this industry special. A few highlights: Staying closely connected to the communities we serve, engaging residents and supporting experiences that reflect the core of what we do every day. Bringing clinical team members together at the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) conference for continued education and connection. And engaging in thoughtful, relationship-driven conversations with industry leaders at National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC), including an intimate dinner with LifeLoop at Husk. Each of these moments reinforces our approach to advancing collaboration, strengthening clinical alignment, and deepening engagement across the communities we serve.
