Over the past few years, listening to our Guests has been the inspiration behind how we operate and innovate at Burger King. We’ve made meaningful changes across the business thanks to our Guests and that intense commitment to listening. There are a variety of ways that we listen – through targeted Guest research, restaurant visits, monitoring social channels – but my favorite way to hear from Guests has always been through the conversations that come about as we travel the country proudly wearing our BK swag. Now, we want to extend these conversations even further, and I personally want to have the opportunity to hear as much direct feedback as possible. So, starting today I’m trying something just a bit on the wild side: I’m sharing my phone number, (305) 874 0520, so Guests have a direct way to call or text me with honest, unfiltered feedback on their Burger King experience or ideas. The goal is to engage in even more real conversations with real Guests. What are we doing well? What can we improve upon? What should we stop doing? What should we start doing? Putting my phone number out there is an important next step in staying connected, but even more important is taking what we learn and putting it into action. For more than two decades, the Burger King Foundation has been committed to supporting BK Team Members, families, teachers, and students in meaningful ways. In 2025, we reached a new milestone: $9.8M in total funding across all programs, the largest in our Foundation’s history. Even more powerful, $6.3M of that total was raised directly in our restaurants through Foundation campaigns. That number represents moments that truly matter – a BK Scholars Program scholarship opening doors to new opportunities, support from the BK Emergency Fund showing up when life takes an unexpected turn, and classrooms stocked through BK Crown A Classroom so students can feel confident, prepared, and ready to learn. That impact is real, and it never gets old. Burger King Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) are the heart and soul of our brand, and there’s nothing more energizing than coming together to connect and look ahead. We’re excited about what’s ahead and proud of the people driving BK forward as we build toward 2026.
There’s nothing like being in a room full of Restaurant General Managers (RGM) and Franchisees who enjoy what they do, and who love the camaraderie of working with a clear purpose. Last week was a great reminder of why the connection between management, owners, and Team Members matters so much in pursuing our purpose - to serve the best burgers and great tasting food, with genuine CARE. I had the opportunity to attend two of our annual RGM meetings – the “Royal Roundtables” – in Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Now in our third year, these rallies bring together nearly 6,000 RGMs across 37 U.S. cities. At Roundtables Burger King management and Franchisees share plans for the year ahead, focus on biggest opportunity areas, and create a unique space for managers to spend time together learning from each other. Most importantly, these gatherings build momentum, belief, and excitement for the brand with the folks who play the most critical role in BK restaurants. I left the week fired up for the year ahead and grateful for the passion, candor, and commitment of our teams. I have even more confidence that our purpose and mission are in great hands – the hands of the operators who bring our brand to life every day, in every restaurant, with each and every Guest. The flame burns bright here at BK. 2026 is off to a great start!

As we ring in the new year, we’re excited about what’s ahead for our brand and Burger King family. To close out the year we had the opportunity to celebrate the Big Dream Awards, an annual recognition hosted by our parent company, Restaurant Brands International, that honors individuals who exemplify RBI’s values. We’re proud to recognize Charlotte Zuber (Sr. Manager, Product Development, Chef), whose creativity and innovation have shaped some of our most talked-about menu moments. From colorful buns to bold builds, Charlotte’s work brings imagination to life and continues to drive excitement for Guests across our system. We’re also proud to celebrate David Strimple (General Manager, BK, US Central), whose leadership continues to move the Central Division forward. With a strong focus on traffic, profitability, and better ways of working, David’s impact is felt every day by his teams and the restaurants he supports. As we step into 2026, we’re energized by the people behind the brand and inspired by what’s possible when innovation and leadership come together. What a Whopper-ful year it’s been! With six new Whopper sandwich innovations, 2025 was another big year for our iconic, flame-grilled flagship sandwich, bringing bold flavors, exciting partnerships, and Guest-inspired builds – creating a whole lot of delicious moments. As the year winds down, we’re taking a moment to look back at some of the limited-time Whopper creations that made this year unforgettable: We kicked things off with a Guest-inspired Steakhouse Bacon Whopper, delivering rich, savory flavors inspired by a steakhouse experience, Burger King style. And, the Guest fueled creations didn’t stop there! We also launched the “Whopper by You” platform, where inspiration from our fans helped shape two crave-worthy builds, the BBQ Brisket Whopper and the Crispy Onion Whopper. We celebrated Halloween with the Jack-O-Lantern Whopper, adding a festive twist to our iconic sandwich and continuing to bring exciting innovations to spooky season. We teamed up with two iconic properties, celebrating the new How to Train Your Dragon film with the Dragon Flame Grilled Whopper on an orange and red marbled bun, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants with SpongeBob’s Krabby Whopper on a yellow square bun. From Guest-inspired ideas to creative partnerships and bold flavor innovation, this year’s Whopper lineup reflects the collaboration, imagination, and teamwork across the BK system. We’re fired up to welcome a new leader to the Burger King kitchen. Amy Alarcon will be joining our team as Head Chef for Burger King U.S. & Canada! Amy joins Burger King after an 18-year career at our sister brand Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, where she helped shape one of the most iconic menus in QSR - including the category-defining Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. She steps into Burger King at a pivotal moment in our journey as we continue to elevate food quality, taste, and overall culinary excellence. Amy brings a powerful combination of creative vision, disciplined execution, and deep experience building iconic products that resonate with Guests. We’re grateful that Amy is taking on this opportunity at a time when Burger King needs her leadership, imagination, and innovation the most. Still riding the wave from an amazing BK x SpongeBob weekend in Miami! More than 1,000 Guests joined the fun, filling the restaurant with excitement and plenty of Bikini Bottom spirit. This pop-up came to life thanks to incredible collaboration across our BK teams - from creating an immersive and creative experience to serving up the full SpongeBob menu with care and enthusiasm. We’re grateful for the creativity, teamwork, and passion that made this experience one to remember. Thanks to everyone who helped bring a little underwater magic to Miami!
What a weekend we had, celebrating all things absorbent, yellow, and porous! This past Saturday and Sunday, our team hosted a BK x SpongeBob pop-up at our restaurant takeover location in Miami. I personally had a whale of a time talking to Guests and certainly left the event happy as a clam. Families, kids, SpongeBob fans, BK fans and locals who dropped anchor in Bikini Bottom (BK style) were all reveling in the beautiful restaurant, the fun activities and of course, the tasty treasures on the menu. Before the event even cast off, waves of faithful SpongeBob fans poured into the parking lot. Our restaurant team battened down the hatches and served more than 1,000 people throughout the weekend. It was fantastic to watch how much joy a menu like this can bring to families, community, and a brand. Even though this pop-up event was just a ship, passing in the proverbial night, the restaurant (located at 701 NW 37th Ave) is still fully decked out and serving the full SpongeBob menu line-up for a few more weeks. Whether you’re a local landlubber or just temporarily in port here in Miami, I highly recommend making the voyage to check it out. The team runs a tight ship and would love to welcome you aboard! A big thanks to the teams who brought a little Bikini Bottom magic to Miami, and to our BK Team Members across the country who are serving up smiles and delicious SpongeBob meals to all our Guests!

Starting today, Burger King is bringing a sea-riously awesome menu to life in partnership with The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, only in theatres December 19! With four new menu items, toys, crowns, and unique packaging all inspired by the world of SpongeBob, our goal was to create something families could enjoy together during the holiday season. It came together thanks to incredible work across many teams - from developing items like SpongeBob’s Krabby Whopper on a yellow square bun, to designing treasure chest packaging for Mr. Krabs’ Cheesy Bacon Tots and creating a Pineapple shaped Under the Sea Box for adults and kids to get in on the fun, every detail reflects the collaboration, creativity, and teamwork from the BK team that went into this menu. All that’s left now? For Guests to experience SpongeBob at restaurants across the U.S. and Canada!
