DAS NYC 2026: Stablecoins, Wallets, and the New Global Payments Stack At DAS NYC 2026, Tom Zschach, Chief Innovation Officer at SWIFT, and Konstantin Richter, CEO and Founder of Blockdaemon, shared a practical view of how digital asset infrastructure may evolve for institutional payments. The discussion focused less on hype and more on what institutions will need for real adoption: clear controls, auditability, legal certainty, and infrastructure that can connect to existing financial rails. Key themes from the panel included: • Why agentic payments will need strong institutional guardrails • Why accountability must remain human, even as execution becomes more automated • Why wallets alone are not enough without connected infrastructure, monitoring, and settlement logic • Why legal clarity still plays a major role in moving from pilots to live workflows • Why new and existing payment rails are more likely to interconnect than replace one another The panel also highlighted the role of policy-based infrastructure in this shift. As discussed by Konstantin, Blockdaemon Institutional Vault is designed to support institutional signing and transaction controls with encrypted on-prem policy management, while Blockdaemon’s node infrastructure supports the broader operational stack around payment and settlement workflows. One of the clearest lines from the session came from Konstantin Richter: “less about ideology and more about systems design.” Read the full blog recap here: https://lnkd.in/gsUdgqED

Huge congratulations to the whole team for the launch of Midnight 🎉 Blockdaemon is proud to support as a federated node provider and excited for what comes next!
Midnight is live 🎉 Today marks the launch of the Midnight Network, a defining step forward in blockchain infrastructure and the realization of a fourth-generation architecture. Rather than forcing a trade-off between transparency and privacy, Midnight allows both to coexist. Developers can build applications where user data remains private, while key conditions can still be proven on-chain, unlocking entirely new design space across financial products, identity systems, and decentralized applications. Welcome to privacy by default, and disclosure by choice. 🔗 Read the full announcement, including details on the network’s phased rollout designed to ensure stability, security, and long-term resilience as the ecosystem expands: https://lnkd.in/etB49jxd

Digital Asset Summit 2026 is buzzing right now, and we're seeing real synergies come to life across institutions, networks, and infrastructure partners. A few things I'm particularly excited about: The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is one of the most trusted names in global financial market infrastructure, and our collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building the institutional-grade rails that digital assets require. Canton Foundation support: Being a Canton Foundation Member and supporting the network as a validator, super validator and service provider and offering NaaS, Custody, and Wallets, we continue to see significant growth in this ecosystem. Through our Institutional Vault integration with the Canton network and supports the CIP56 token standard we are giving partners the multi-network flexibility it needs as digital asset use cases continue to evolve. Institutional DNA: Blockdaemon was built from inception as a partner to Tier 1 financial institutions, and we operate with the governance, risk, and compliance standards that regulated institutions expect. Together, we're setting a new benchmark for what institutional digital asset infrastructure can look like. #DigitalAssets #BlockchainInfrastructure #DTCC #Blockdaemon #Canton #Institutional

Introducing Hashi: a new era of Bitcoin finance on Sui. Bitcoin's market cap exceeds $1 trillion. Less than 0.5% of it is actively deployed in DeFi. Hashi is here to change that, with commitments from industry leaders including BitGo, Bullish, Erebor Bank, FalconX, Fordefi, Ledger, and more. Launching on devnet today, Hashi will unlock institutional Bitcoin participation at scale, bringing core financial services like credit origination and lending to a transparent, compliant environment on Sui. Hashi will allow BTC holders across institutions and retail participants to earn yield, lend, and borrow against their Bitcoin. For builders, it will open the door to create innovative products that put BTC to work. Building with Hashi from day one 👇 • Custody & wallets: BitGo, Cobo, Blockdaemon, FORDEFI, Ledger • Brokerages & liquidity: Bullish, Erebor, FalconX • Infrastructure & data: CF Benchmarks, Cubist, Inveniam • Bonds: Wave Digital Assets • Security: Asymptotic, Certora, OtterSec • Insurance: Soter Insure • Protocols: AlphaFi, Bluefin, Blueprint Finance, NAVI Labs Inc, Scallop, Suilend • Assets: First Digital’s FDUSD, Matrixdock’s XAUM, Sui Dollar (USDsui), eSui Dollar (suiUSDe), Circle’s USDC Dive deeper into the technology behind Hashi and how it works under the hood: https://lnkd.in/dWd_vF_9 Over a trillion dollars in idle Bitcoin. Blockdaemon is making it simple for app developers to integrate onchain yield with Morpho As more applications hold value noncustodially for their customers, these onchain assets often are left idle. Blockdaemon's Earn Stack allows wallet providers, custodians, and fintechs to integrate Gauntlet's full suite of curated vaults, all via its no-code embedded widget. Customers can now allocate their assets directly in the applications they are already familiar with via Blockdaemon's Earn Stack into Morpho Vaults to generate yield until the moment before spending.

50+ Gauntlet Vaults are now integrated with Blockdaemon's Earn Stack More institutional clients can now access competitive onchain yields through our stablecoin, ETH, and other Morpho Vaults on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Coinbase's Base. Facilitating institutional adoption The barrier to onchain yield is often operational: tracking liquidity, evaluating protocol risk, and monitoring collateral across chains. Blockdaemon's Earn Stack integration addresses this by consolidating 50+ onchain yield opportunities into a single user interface.
