Some blockchains run on the same public internet built for email and web browsing in the 1990s. 🌐 As validators increasingly run across multiple networks, networking performance is becoming a competitive requirement everywhere. That's why chain-agnostic infrastructure matters. DoubleZero aims to address this, and is chain-agnostic by design. Read more from David Ren Jun Liang → https://lnkd.in/eCib7aAs

That’s a wrap on Brasil. 🇧🇷 From the stage at the Institutional Summit to MERGE DIGITAL SL Conference and Figment’s Digital Asset Sidebar Brasil, our team had the opportunity to connect with the LATAM community. Adoption is being driven by real use cases, not speculation — from stablecoins to neobanks integrating onchain rewards. Regulatory momentum in markets like Brasil is creating a foundation for institutional participation. The opportunity now is not awareness, it’s distribution and product design. To our distinguished speakers, guests, and trusted partners — thank you for your insights, participation, and collaboration.

I appreciated the opportunity to interview the Nagel Lisânias Paulino of the Brazilian Central Bank (in Portuguese!) about the bank's new regulatory framework for digital asset businesses in the country Thanks to the Figment team for the opportunity! (h/t Alyssa Quevillon) Also had the chance to record some killer podcast episodes onsite at MERGE DIGITAL SL Sao Paulo with Rodrigo Coelho of Edge & Node and Sthefano S. And hosted a mainstage panel on digital asset banking with Jayme Chataque of Santander Brasil, Matt Kennedy of TRM Labs, Gabriel Campa of Towerbank International Inc. and Sadia Halim, CFA of GK8 by Galaxy (Nasdaq: GLXY)

Stablecoins took a step closer to embedded infrastructure with Tempo's announcement. Anyone can now build on Tempo. Figment is proud to support that vision, bringing our compliance, security, and reliability to stablecoin infrastructure. The industry's ambition is clear: instant settlement, predictable low fees, and high throughput for payments. The work continues. Congratulations to the Tempo team for moving us all forward.
Tempo Mainnet is live! Starting today, anyone can integrate Tempo for real-world payments at scale, enabling instant settlement, high throughput, low-cost global transactions for any use case. Alongside mainnet, we’re introducing the Machine Payments Protocol, an open standard for machine payments co-authored with Stripe. Agent payments will soon overtake human payments on the internet. The Machine Payments Protocol is a new open standard co-authored by Tempo and Stripe. It’s designed to be extensible and payment-method agnostic, already supporting stablecoins, cards, and more. Beyond agent payments, Tempo can be used for global payouts, remittances, embedded finance, tokenized deposits, and more use cases. We’ll be adding more features for enterprises in the coming months.
