AI investment is accelerating. Global AI spend is projected to reach $2.5 trillion by 2026. Yet transformational ROI remains rare. Most organisations are investing heavily in AI… But scaling beyond pilots continues to stall. Why? Because AI doesn’t fail at the model level. It fails at the work level. We call these hidden blockers “capacity ghosts” — invisible friction created when organisations redesign at the role or function level, while AI reshapes work at the task level. When you can’t see how work is actually performed, you can’t: - Quantify addressable AI spend - Eliminate duplication and low-value activity - Link automation to explicit cost outcomes - Redesign roles dynamically as work evolves - Scale transformation beyond isolated pilots That’s why we’re convening a private breakfast discussion for C-level leaders in London: Capacity Ghosts: Why the Billion-Dollar AI Pivot Dies in Human Silos 📍 Central London 🗓 Thursday 5th March ⏰ 08:30–11:00 This is not a presentation. No slides. No vendor pitches. Just a structured, peer-led discussion on how leading enterprises are: • Moving from org charts to task-level visibility • Linking AI investment to real productivity outcomes • Making workforce capacity measurable and governable • Bridging strategy, transformation, and technology leadership If you’re a C-level executive navigating AI scale, workforce redesign, or transformation governance — and want to exchange perspectives with peers — we’d welcome you to join. • The Beamery Team was with the British Embassy Madrid last week for an insightful event covering how AI innovation is driving real impact across leading organisations globally. We were delighted to share practical examples alongside Fernando Bellón de Aguilar of #BBVA, of how AI is moving beyond experimentation and delivering measurable business value, particularly when it comes to transforming talent strategy and workforce planning. A special thank you to Adam Defusto for representing Beamery, KPMG & Vertice for your thought-provoking presentations, and to the British Embassy Madrid team for bringing together such an engaged and thoughtful group to explore how AI can help shape workforce transformation and the future of organisations.

• 💡 Why are enterprise AI investments growing, but outcomes lagging? Capacity Ghosts: Why the Billion-Dollar AI Pivot Dies in Human Silos explores a critical reality: AI value isn’t limited by models, it’s limited by how work and human capacity are structured inside organisations. Invisible capacity trapped in fragmented roles, siloed functions and unmeasured tasks is now the single biggest barrier to scaled AI impact. Read the whitepaper below. 📅 Join us on Thursday 5th March in London for an interactive breakfast conversation with senior Strategy, Transformation, Technology and Customer Experience leaders. We’ll explore: - Why AI investments too often stall in pilot mode - How to make work, capacity and transformation constraints visible - What it really takes to move from experimentation to enterprise-wide impact 🔗 Save your seat: https://lnkd.in/e7ZvFitb

Rising applicant volumes may look like progress, but for critical roles inbound hiring often optimises for availability, not value. As skills fragment and AI reshapes work, over-reliance on applications is quietly undermining long-term talent strategy. Our latest whitepaper explores why application-led hiring optimises for availability, not value, and why over-reliance on inbound recruiting is becoming a strategic risk. 📖 Read the whitepaper below. 🎯 Executive Event: 18th March - London Join senior leaders for an exclusive networking event to dive deeper into this topic and explore how to outperform reactive recruiting with proactive, skills-led strategies. Most organisations still plan their biggest cost using the bluntest data: headcount and job titles. That might have worked once. It doesn’t anymore. As AI reshapes work at a task level, the real question isn’t how many people do we have — it’s what work is actually being done, where value is created, and where effort is wasted. This paper is a strong reminder that human capital needs the same governance discipline as financial capital — especially if organisations want AI investments to deliver real returns. If this topic is relevant to you, we’re continuing the conversation in London on 5th March with a small group of senior leaders. Worth a read. Worth a discussion.

Most organisations plan workforce spend using outdated headcount data. The result? Misallocated capital, missed synergies, and stalled AI ROI. Our new whitepaper, The Invisible Ledger: Governing Human Capital in the Age of AI, shows how task-level work intelligence transforms human capital into a strategic, auditable asset. Read it to learn how to: - Identify hidden workforce capacity - Accelerate post-merger value capture - Quantify and govern AI-driven labor investments 📖 Read through the whitepaper below or join the conversation at our upcoming event! 🎯 CxO Breakfast Event — The Invisible Ledger: Governing Human Capital in the Age of AI 📍 London | 🗓 Thursday 5th March | ⏰ 08:30–11:00 If you’re in the CxO organization and would like to dive further into this topic, join us at our upcoming breakfast event in London on Thursday 5th March, where we explore how leading organisations are rethinking the governance of human capital in the age of AI. We are hiring a Head of InfoSec to help us stay ahead of emerging AI-driven threats and all the nasties out there! At Beamery, we’ve built a world-class security posture from the ground up (thanks to amazing former colleagues), including the new ISO42001 certification! But in InfoSec, resting on your laurels is the fastest way to fall behind. As the threat landscape evolves, we aren't looking for a "maintainer" we're looking for a visionary leader. If you are a curious and brave leader who believes that true security is a moving target, help us keep the future of work safe. JD in the comments!

The next generation of CFOs will not be defined by cost control alone. They will be defined by their ability to govern human capital with the same discipline applied to financial capital. That means understanding how work actually happens, identifying where value is created or diluted, and making workforce decisions based on evidence — not proxies. Organisations that build this capability gain a structural advantage: faster execution, stronger transformation outcomes, and more disciplined capital allocation. The question is no longer whether workforce intelligence matters. It is whether Finance leaders are willing to operate without it. We will be discussing this in more detail during our next CxO event on 5th March and you can register at https://lnkd.in/eYQep33b
