B Corp Month is officially over, but we’re not over it. Here’s what the B Corp community got up to this month, in case you missed it: 🍫 Tony's Chocolonely and The Social Hub (B Corp™) turned a hotel room into a masterclass in purposeful marketing, with Trix van der Vleuten, Line DILLON, and B Lab Europe’s Chris Verrijdt unpacking what it means when brand, business model, and impact actually move together. 🚘 A giant B rolled through London, powered by an Electric Vintage Land Rover and the energy of Electric Vintage, Bull & Wolf | B Corp, Blue Earth, and Sapling Spirits | B Corp. Did you spot it? We are still looking for sightings 👀 ✍🏼 Down under, B Corp @Eco Dynamics Group brought the community together around one very grounding question: what does purpose actually look like in practice? 🦜 In Brazil, Grupo Iter unveiled a giant B at Parque Bondinho Pão de Açúcar®, a travelling monument designed to represent the local flora and fauna, and to show up wherever the Brazilian B Corp community needs it. 🗾 Our B Market Builder Japan team held the third B Corp community gathering in Japan, and over 100 people showed up. B Corps, companies on their way to certification, and everyone in between came together to learn, connect, and get hands-on with B Corp products. 🌟 And then ChangeNOW, where team members from France, Scotland, Italy, the U.S., and more closed the month together, and where we began to reflect on 20 years of the movement: what have we built? What's left to do? Thank you to everyone who made this month what it was. See you next year 👋 B Lab France B Lab UK B Lab Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand Sistema B Sistema B Brasil B Lab U.S. & Canada B Lab Italia B Lab Benelux

Something has been quietly happening in sustainability communications. While companies are still taking action on sustainability, many have stopped talking about it. That silence has a name: greenhushing, and it’s creating a vacuum that misinformation is happy to fill. Our new GreenSHOUTING Guide, created in collaboration with Creatives for Climate and B Corp Nice and Serious, wants to change that. Launched today at ChangeNOW where B Corp Back Market joined us onstage, this free guide will help more actors stop whispering and get loud and proud about their sustainability strategies, helping businesses communicate their impact with clarity, confidence, and credibility. Download via https://lnkd.in/gwqbhpza, and join our webinar on April 8, alongside Patagonia, Tony's Chocolonely, and Formula E, for the deep dive: https://luma.com/3x1389zd Charlotte Levitt Lucy von Sturmer Carmen Dias Cater Tom Tapper

"We don't need a million people doing the same. We do need a million people bringing what's best about each of us. Recognizing that need for diversity in a movement is something that we at B Lab are trying to replicate." — Sarah Schwimmer, Co-Lead Executive, B Lab. It’s day 1 at ChangeNOW 2026, and already a powerful reminder of what makes movements work: collective action and diverse perspectives. It takes rigorous measurement, real change, and continuous improvement to earn B Corp Certification. So when companies get the B, they don't hide it; they showcase it with pride. Swipe through to see Finisterre, Allbirds, Nestlé Nespresso SA, Coutts Products & Services, and more bringing the B to their customers in creative ways: castle displays, product placements, storefront signage, and more. What's the most creative B you've spotted? Tag us! #BCorpMonth

Can a system designed to reward accumulation ever incentivize distribution? In the world of impact, what outcomes should we expect from a system engineered for growth, preservation, and control? When preservation is the default setting, what does “impact” actually mean? Modern #philanthropy exists largely because of a tax-structured grand bargain (I’m not talking about charity here–that is different). Wealth is accumulated within one system — and partially redistributed through another. We rarely interrogate that foundation. We simply build on top of it. But what if capital isn’t just money? What if capital is also code? Code determines behavior. It encodes incentives. It scales logic. It decides what compounds — and what doesn’t. Right now, much of our philanthropic architecture is still running wealth-management code: preservation over deployment, control over trust, risk mitigation over regeneration. Meanwhile, alternative designs are emerging. These aren’t feel-good stories. They are system redesigns. They are real alternatives. And real alternatives responding to seismic shifts. In nature, capital cycles regeneratively. It moves. It replenishes. It compounds through circulation. Philanthropy may be the closest thing we have to a regenerative capital mechanism — yet it remains constrained by outdated logic and insufficient scale. So the question we’ll explore at the #GPF Summit is this: If capital is programmable — if it is code — what are we actually encoding? Preservation? Scarcity? Control? Or regeneration? Trust? Distributed ownership? The operating system is the message. If we want different outcomes, we need different code. We’ll interrogate the architecture itself — not just how we give, but how capital behaves. Because the future won’t be shaped by better intentions. It will be shaped by better design. I can't wait to hear from many great voices in this conversation, John Fullerton, Nick Allardice, Anna-Lisa Miller, Sarah Schwimmer, Margot Brandenburg, Gina Dalma, Jessyca Dudley, Audrey Selian, Fyodor Ovchinnikov, Kristin Hayden, Sid Efromovich, Taj James, Jennifer Risher, Roshan Ghadamian

B Lab is returning as a Major Ecosystem Partner to ChangeNOW 2026 in Paris, one of the world’s leading events for environmental and social innovation. Across three days, we’ll be connecting with the B Corp community and ecosystem peers, sharing what we’ve learned from working with 10,000+ businesses, and exploring how companies can turn sustainability ambition into everyday practice. Three conversations we’re especially excited about: 🎤 Internal Transformation: Employee Engagement & Sustainability Culture, with our Co-Lead Executive Clay Brown, Jolana Jamuna Amara from The League of Intrapreneurs, Otto Scharmer from Presencing Institute, moderated by Bodine van Styrum from SustainabilitySpot. 🎤 How to Organize Collective Action, with our Co-Lead Executive Sarah Schwimmer, Issey Gladston from Sexy Climate Change, Hiraku Hayakawa from Climate Cardinals, Gabrielle Piot from 2tonnes, Célia Poncelin from The Tomorrow Project, Luisa Neubauer from Fridays For Future International, and moderated by Nick McGirl from ChangemakerXchange. 🎤 GreenSHOUTING: Breaking the Silence on Sustainability, with our Director of Marketing & Communications Charlotte Levitt, Lucy von Sturmer, Founder of Creatives for Climate, and Tom Tapper from Nice and Serious. We’re bringing together brands, creatives, and sustainability leaders for a bold conversation, exploring how to rebuild confidence, stay visible without overclaiming, and communicate progress with clarity and accuracy.
