As we ride out of town from the 2026 National Postal Forum 2026, we’re reflecting on an incredible week of conversations around the future of direct mail. This year’s NPF reinforced the growing importance of USPS modernization, AI-driven visibility, smarter postal strategies, and tighter control over in-home delivery performance for high-volume mailers. Most importantly, it was great spending time with customers, partners, and industry peers while showcasing the amazing ALitho team. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check out the Pony Express and connect with us in Phoenix. If you’d like to talk through some of the key insights and opportunities coming out of NPF, let’s connect. #NPF2026 #DirectMail #PostalOptimization #USPS #ALitho #AmericanLitho

From Pony Express to Postal Performance! Last night in Phoenix, we took things back to where delivery began, bringing the Pony Express to life at the National Postal Forum. It was a great way to connect with customers, share stories, and remind ourselves just how far the industry has come, from horseback to highly optimized, data-driven delivery. Today's challenge is getting mail delivered smarter, faster, more efficiently, and precisely when it matters most. If you’re at NPF this week, let’s connect. We’d love to show you how we’re helping high-volume mailers improve speed to in-home, reduce postage costs, and drive better performance. Find us walking the show floor or send a message. #NationalPostalForum #DirectMail #PostalOptimization #NPF2026 #MarketingStrategy #AmericanLitho #ALitho

USPS has filed proposed rate changes that could significantly impact Marketing Mail programs at scale. This is not just a routine increase. The filing includes adjustments to pricing, new fees, and changes to preparation and workshare structures that directly affect cost efficiency for high-volume mailers. It’s also important to note that this is a proposal, not yet approved, creating a short window to evaluate your current strategy before anything is finalized. Now is the time to take a closer look at your mail program, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure you’re positioned correctly ahead of potential changes. If you’d like a quick assessment of how this could affect your current campaigns, let’s connect. Stability Returns to Postal Pricing — What Direct Mail Marketers Need to Know. In a move that brings long-needed predictability back to the mailbox, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) has issued an order limiting the United States Postal Service to no more than one Market Dominant rate increase per year through 2030. For large direct mail marketers, this matters. Just as important, the PRC reaffirmed workshare protections, preventing USPS from reducing passthroughs tied to avoided costs. In plain terms: the efficiencies marketers invest in—presort, drop-shipping, co-mailing, and logistics optimization—remain protected. This decision was strongly supported by PostCom, and it sends a clear signal: smart mail preparation will continue to be rewarded. Why this is important for enterprise mailers: More predictable cost modeling for multi-year campaigns Greater confidence in long-term postal strategies Preserved incentives for operational efficiency and volume optimization For brands mailing at scale, this isn’t just regulatory news, it’s a planning advantage. Fewer pricing surprises mean more room to focus on performance, personalization, and integration across channels. At American Litho, this reinforces what we’ve long believed: the strongest postal strategies are built by analyzing every step, every cost, and every opportunity—before ink ever hits paper. Stability in postal policy gives marketers the runway. Execution is where the advantage is won! With Rob Glaza serving on the Board of PostCom, American Litho remains committed to assisting our customers with the most current and reliable postal information.
