Our company is evolving the way we approach SEO for the AI era. Worth a read. 🧠
Online search is changing — fast. AI-generated answers from Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity are transforming how people find and trust information online. Increasingly fewer users are clicking through to websites. Instead, they’re getting answers directly from AI — summaries, lists, and recommendations that bypass traditional links entirely. At Fueled, we’ve been tracking this evolution closely. Our new whitepaper, From Engines to an Ecosystem: Generative AI and the Future of SEO, explores what this means for modern marketing teams — and how to respond strategically. What’s inside: 🔍 Why zero-click search is accelerating — and what it means for your funnel 🧠 How AI models choose what to surface 🛠️ What technical factors still matter — and what’s becoming irrelevant 📈 How to begin measuring how AI is reshaping your traffic and brand perception 🌐 Why we’re moving toward Search Ecosystem Optimization — and how to lead that shift The whitepaper is available on our site in PDF and ePub formats. 📄 https://lnkd.in/g6DTTGyb

The challenge: efficiently explore and ship generative AI features that drive engagement and productivity for one of the world’s most influential entertainment publishers. When the media company behind dozens of brands, including Rolling Stone and Variety, wanted to bring Artificial Intelligence to their digital publications, they came to us to collaborate. Using ClassifAI, our open source AI toolkit for WordPress, we rapidly developed and released features like smart 404 pages, improved taxonomy management and cleanup, a UI to control prompts for each feature, and granular user and role-based access controls. WordPress democratized web publishing. Can integrating it with self-hosted AI democratize AI-powered web content management? With the latest update to ClassifAI, we’re bringing self-hosted AI to WordPress—empowering website owners to run AI models on their own infrastructure. No API fees. No external data sharing. We're excited to welcome three new leaders to Fueled+10up. A special welcome to Peter Slutsky, whose decade at Automattic included helping scale the enterprise business at WordPress VIP—a platform and partner we’ve proudly built on for over a decade. His insight into open-source CMS at scale and longstanding collaboration with 10up makes this a full-circle moment. Meet the newest members of our leadership team:
At Fueled, we know that great outcomes start with great leadership. Over the past few months, we’ve welcomed three accomplished executives who bring the kind of experience, perspective, and vision that will help shape our next chapter. Ryan Martin joins as Chief Financial Officer, bringing two decades of financial leadership in high-growth, investor-backed organizations. His expertise in M&A, operational efficiency, and long-term financial strategy will help us scale with intention. Chris Whaley comes aboard as Vice President of Client Strategy, with more than 20 years of experience guiding digital transformation across Fortune 100s, startups, and government. He brings a strategic, client-first mindset to every engagement. Peter Slutsky also joins as Vice President of Client Strategy, drawing on a rare blend of political, public sector, and enterprise experience—including a decade at Automattic, where he helped lead WordPress adoption across major government agencies. Their arrival reflects our continued investment in top-tier talent—and the momentum behind our work. We’re building a team ready to meet the future of digital head-on, and we’re just getting started. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gGj5WBjR

After ~2 years of the 10up & California Cradle-to-Career Data System teams working together (remotely), I was finally able to meet our core stakeholders in person today to help celebrate the launch of the Data Stories site feature. The first Data Story — Pathways to College in California — explores a series of data visualizations that show student transitions from California’s public high schools to California public colleges and universities and into the workforce. As a lifelong Californian (with two kids in CA's public university system), I am proud to be part of the multi-department / multi-vendor team to help bring this to life, providing transparency and utility of important data.
