What are the course completion expectations and what are the learner’s needs and abilities? What makes training valuable are the short term and long term outcomes. How well will trainees apply the newly acquired knowledge on the job?

I prefer using video recordings for the visual as well as easy closed caption generation and translation. Each user can choose his/her respective language in just a few clicks. Video also provides the opportunity to slow it down or speed it up, and learners can watch and rewatch as many times as they need.

I've been fortunate in my career to work with colleagues across EMEA/Globally and as someone who is bi-lingual I understand the struggles of communicating in multiple languages. The most effective form of collaboration is to have to group discussion in which we discuss the issues and we an gain an understanding from a country and cultural point of view as to what the implications are commercially. I include layered learning materials such as FAQs/summaries alongside visual aids such as charts/infographics.

I find that flipping roles by allowing the learner to train the trainer helps them test and apply the knowledge they gained. This also gives the trainer an opportunity to redirect and guide the learner on navigating challenging aspects of the learning process.
