Para garantizar la armonía y la productividad en mi opinión y experiencia me ha funcionado lo siguiente: 1. Conocer a tu equipo. Entender en qué contexto cada colaborador se desempeña mejor y adaptarte a ello es clave. 2. Conversar. Promover espacios que con empatía permitan aclarar dudas, comprender puntos de vista y alinearse. 3. Establecer objetivos claros. Asegúrate de que todos tengan claro el propósito del equipo y sus responsabilidades. 4. Retroalimentación. Crear un espacio de respeto en el que se pueda conversar sobre lo que está funcionado y lo que no.

Running a global team with members from South Africa, the US, and the Philippines means managing different work styles daily. I’ve learned that clear communication is key and everyone needs to feel heard and understood. I set clear goals so we’re all aligned but allow flexibility in how people work. I do encourage working UK time to stay in sync with me, but I make sure it still works for them. Instead of seeing differences as challenges, I encourage learning from each other. Most importantly, I make sure every team member feels valued. When people feel respected and supported, they work better together, no matter where they’re from.

I have been working with a global team for the past 5 years. Create a safe space where people trust each other: It’s helpful to create certain rituals that help the team bond and get to know each other. This type of ritual bonding creates trust and genuine relationships. Respect everyone views and diverse styles of working. Understand what each member needs from you and how best you can support them so they can thrive. Create a space for productive disagreements. If everyone is always agreeing then there’s no chance to innovate or change. Embrace new ideas, learn, iterate. Help them understand what you need from them. Help them manage up to give you visibility, and to express themselves.
