Addressing microaggressions at work requires a balance of awareness, courage, and leadership. Start by calmly addressing the behavior when appropriate—sometimes, people are unaware of their impact. Foster open conversations by promoting education and empathy, encouraging a culture where differences are respected. Lead by example, setting a tone of inclusivity through both words and actions. If patterns persist, escalate concerns through the right channels to ensure accountability. A truly inclusive workplace isn’t just reactive—it’s proactive in creating a culture of belonging for all.

Creating an inclusive workplace means addressing issues like microaggressions in a way that encourages understanding, not division. If I ever faced this, I’d speak up calmly and explain why something isn’t okay. People don’t always realise the impact of their words, so a simple conversation can make a big difference. I’d also encourage open discussions and make sure everyone feels heard and respected. Small actions lead to real change, and a workplace where everyone feels valued is better for everyone.

Turn them into macroaggressions, make sure that if they're looking for a fight with anyone, they have to fight you first. Don't show mercy, but make sure you welcome them back once you've beaten the living shit out of them, if they show remorse and willingness to improve.
