The Lupus Response Cache is a permanent response cache with pluggable cache backends.
Features
- Builds a response-index, containing responses & status code of registered URLs.
- Handles canonical URLs of configurable entity types. URLs are extensible via API.
- Keeps "generation date", state of "stale" responses and "to-renew" responses.
- Associates responses with cache tags, for cache invalidation. Invalidated items are marked as stale.
- Provides a request-middleware that works similar to the Drupal page cache, but leverages the response cache.
