Loads of fun - highly recommended.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 February 2026Brilliant game, we have all thoroughly enjoyed this game, which I bought to keep the kids entertained for part of half term. The mini games are generally hilarious, quite silly and lots of fun, requiring a lot of different skills and gameplay. Some are easy and others really quite hard (and there are some I still had no idea how to control after repeatedly slithering off the board in a dramatic manner for the length of the level). The shenanigans and humour of the commentators is generally funny, and we all enjoyed finding out what you can get up to at the podium stages after each level. The level of visual detail throughout is a joy to behold.
The board game bit in between levels can feel a bit of a long winded tedious nuisance in between the fun bits - lasting longer than the levels themselves - and isn't very intuitive; if you don't like stealing from your opponents you don't have the option to turn that off (unlike, say Mariokart where you can select which boosters you really dislike; although you can give some players a gold brick at the start to give them an advantage). Not unlike Marioparty or a real board game you can play consistently well through the game but by sheer chance of virtual dice rolls end up bottom after it all. If any of that bothers you, you can elect to play a mode which is just a set number of the mini games rather than the whole long board game style, which is probably better for small kids or the impatient/easily bored among us. And you can select individual levels to practice if you want to stop slithering dramatically off the board and want to try and improve rather than laugh at your own repeated ineptitude (I picked the latter).
If you don't have the full 4 people, be aware you have to have 4 players so need to fill the remainder in with CPU bots; and the bots on standard level are WAY better than a noob playing for their first few times. You might want to consider setting them to easy (particularly if you have little kids, cognitive issues/slow reactions or would just prefer not to be completely trounced) until you at least sort of know what you are doing, and even then the bots are still hard to beat sometimes. For the 2x2 games, it would be nice to have the option to either pick teams or go for random, so you can even up sides if necessary.
We could not work out how to change the player names in a local multiplayer so you end up all having the name of the person whose profile you're playing on, with an added number. Maybe we are just being dim but even after frankly excessive googling and sitting through several youtube videos I couldn't find how to do it. It is only a niggle but my kids don't want to be called [mum'sname]2,3 etc. According to a thread I read elsewhere it seems like the devs did this on purpose to stop people using rude words and screen shotting; but in an offline multiplayer I don't see any real harm from potty humour. If someone really wanted to take screenshots and add rude words photo editing is very easy, and trying to avoid having naughty words pictured with your game by stopping kids using their real names when playing offline feels a bit of a puritanical over reach, particularly considering how much you can customise the look of the players. But given this semi-trivial moan is my biggest complaint about the game, you can take this review as a glowing endorsement

A good, fun twist on Mario party - could be improved with a few small tweaks
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 April 2026Missing the well loved characters from Mario party but lots of fun tweaks. The levels are adaptable with new builds mid game so even the same level can change a few times when played. Crazy mini games, lots of fun and not duplicated any so far. Only downsides are the lack of levels (only 4 to choose from) and the length of game, can't choose shorter amounts of turns on the bigger levels to make the game quicker, so if you're tight for time you're limited to the first one or maybe two level choices.
Very funny commentary and good to change the turn order based on the mini game performance. Seems to change very quickly in terms of the leader which also keeps it fun
