Delivery preferences

Take control of your deliveries with delivery preferences.

As an Amazon Business customer, you can tailor your delivery experience by using the Delivery preferences feature. Delivery preferences allow you to specify opening times for your business, instructions for delivery and more.

Your delivery preferences apply to Fulfilled by Amazon Items Some settings only apply to items delivered by Amazon Logistics.

Group administrator

Group administrators can set specific delivery preferences for the Shared addresses of the groups they manage.

To set delivery preferences for a shared address within your managed groups:

Modify a single address:

Go to Business Settings, and select Addresses .
Identify the address for which you want to set delivery preferences.
Select the delivery instruction From the Edit Address section.

Modify multiple addresses:

Go to Business Settings and select Addresses and delivery preferences.
Identify and select (with the checkbox) the address/addresses for which you want to set the delivery preferences.
Select Actions, in the upper right menu, and select Delivery preferences for selected.

Requisitioner

Requisitioners can set specific delivery preferences for their FOR INDIVIDUAL ADDRESSES:

The delivery preferences feature offers the following settings:

Delivery times:: Delivery hours
Delivery instructions:: Drop-off location Access information and Additional information
Observed holidays
- Customers can also access Custom holidays as a new delivery preference. The option allows customers to select specific calendar days when their locations are closed and receive their deliveries when they reopen.

To set delivery preferences for an existing individual address:

Go to Your Account.
Select Your Addresses.
Select Delivery preferences.

To add delivery preferences while adding a new address:

Go to Your Account and then Your Addresses.
Select Add address.
Enter the required information under Add a new address.
Under Delivery preferencesSelect Edit Select Edit to make your choice for each delivery preference.
Select Add address Select Add address to add a new address with your chosen delivery preferences.

Note: Delivery preferences do not apply to orders made via Amazon Business Punchout. In Japan, at commercial addresses of Amazon Business customers, we make deliveries attended unless customers requested otherwise.
