About Currency of Preference

Currency of Preference is a display-only feature that displays prices in your preferred currency and is for reference use only.

Amazon.co.uk allows you to shop in over 60 currencies. Currency of Preference is a display-only feature that displays prices in your preferred currency. You can update your Currency of Preference by changing from GBP to your preferred currency in the currency settings page.

While shopping, prices will be displayed in your Currency of Preference.

If you are not using the Amazon Currency Converter, at checkout, the Order Total will display the total price of your order in your Currency of Preference. There will also be a Payment Total, which displays the amount your credit card will be charged, as well as the currency in which you will be charged. The amount and currency of your Payment Total are not linked to your Currency of Preference, which is for reference use only.
