Amazon Certified Ships in Product Packaging

We reduce packaging by certifying products that can ship safely without an Amazon box, envelope or bag. The product inside is the same.

Amazon works with brands across the globe to optimise their packaging, reducing material use while protecting products for a safe delivery. We developed test methods in partnership with the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), and tests are completed by Amazon's Packaging Labs, certified third-party labs, manufacturers, and Selling Partners.

This programme, along with other efforts, has helped us to reduce outbound packaging weight per shipment by 43% on average since 2015, that's more than 3 million tons of packaging material.

If you require additional Amazon packaging, select "Ship in Amazon packaging" on the checkout page. We will send the item in an Amazon package at no additional cost. For larger items that can't be sent in an Amazon package, this option will not be available. If the item is a gift, consider selecting a different delivery address to ensure the item remains a surprise.

Concerned about a damaged delivery or other issues with packaging?

Our mission is to reduce the amount of packaging required while ensuring that products arrive to our customers undamaged. If you have experienced a damaged delivery, please Contact-Us and tell us about your experience. We'll use information collected from your order to help assess both the quality of the item's packaging from the manufacturer, and the choices we made in terms of packaging solutions available at our fulfillment centres. If needed, we'll work to improve the packaging and may even restrict the item from sale until a packaging change is made to ensure that we are delivering a great customer experience.
