Great phone for the price

I've been using the Xiaomi 17T 12GB/512GB for a few weeks now, and overall I'm very pleased with it. The first thing that impressed me was the battery life. The 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery easily gets me through a full day of heavy use, including social media, video streaming, navigation, and photography, with plenty of charge left by bedtime. The 67W HyperCharge is also a real convenience, taking the stress out of topping up the battery.

The 6.59 inch display is smooth and comfortable to look at, even during long browsing sessions. Colours are vibrant without being overdone, and the eye-care features seem to reduce strain when using the phone late in the evening.

Photography is another strong point. The Leica camera system produces detailed, natural-looking photos, and the 5x telephoto lens is surprisingly useful for capturing distant subjects without a major loss in quality. Portrait shots and zoomed images have been particularly impressive.

Performance has been excellent thanks to the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Apps open quickly, multitasking is seamless, and I haven't experienced any lag during everyday use.

The reason I'm giving it 4 rather than 5 stars is that the phone is slightly heavier and bulkier than I'd like, probably due to the large battery. Also, while the software offers plenty of features, it took me some time to customise everything to my liking.

Overall, the Xiaomi 17T offers outstanding battery life, strong camera performance, and smooth everyday operation at a competitive price. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a feature-packed smartphone without paying flagship-level prices.

The phone overheats even during normal use, and the battery doesn't last a full day with regular usage. The only thing I really like is the camera.

If this doesn't improve, I'll have to return it. For a phone in this price range, the overheating and poor battery life are simply not acceptable.

Ich nutze mein Xiaomi 17T jetzt schon eine Weile und ich muss sagen – ich bin ehrlich gesagt überrascht, wie viel Negatives man online über dieses Handy liest. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Teil ein echtes Kraftpaket, das genau das tut, was ich brauche.

Performance & täglicher Gebrauch

Alles auf diesem Handy läuft butterweich. Ich hatte bisher keine Probleme bei meinen täglichen Aufgaben. Egal ob Multitasking, Streaming oder einfach nur durch die Oberfläche navigieren – es fühlt sich schnell und flüssig an. Für mich ist es bisher ein absolut zuverlässiges Gerät.

Das "Rabbit Hole" der Personalisierung

Wenn du dein Handy gerne individualisierst, wirst du es lieben. Die Möglichkeiten zur Personalisierung machen echt süchtig. Es hat mir riesigen Spaß gemacht, meine Icons zu ändern und die Benutzeroberfläche genau so anzupassen, wie ich sie haben will. Es ist selten, ein Handy zu finden, das einem so viel Kontrolle bietet, ohne dass man Informatik studiert haben muss.

Die Kamera: Lass dir nichts einreden

Ich sehe online Leute, die die Kamera komplett niedermachen, und ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, was die erwarten oder wie sie die Kamera benutzen. Ich finde, die Kamera ist klasse! Meine Fotos werden scharf, die Farben stimmen, und sie hat bisher alles, was ich fotografiert habe, super hinbekommen. Wenn du wie ich einfach eine Kamera willst, die dein Leben so festhält, wie du es siehst, wirst du nicht enttäuscht sein.

Batterielaufzeit

Ist es ein Akku-Monster, das mehrere Tage durchhält? Nicht ganz. Ich komme verlässlich durch einen soliden Tag damit. Für mich ist das völlig in Ordnung – es hält den ganzen Tag durch, und genau das muss es können.

Das Urteil

Wenn du ein zuverlässiges Handy suchst, das extrem anpassbar ist und eine Kamera hat, die einfach abliefert, ist das Xiaomi 17T ein riesiger Gewinn. Ich bin wirklich zufrieden damit. Lass dich nicht von den "Experten" verunsichern, wenn du einen großartigen Alltagsbegleiter suchst!
