The mission of the Office of Cooperative Education & Career Services is to provide lifelong career development and networking opportunities for all of our 114,000 and counting alumni, wherever they are on their career path. Using a variety of tools from individual counseling to webinars to networking events, our career advisors help graduates of all experience levels determine their career path, their job search plan, or ways to network with other RIT Tigers.
The RIT Office of Cooperative Education & Career Services provides programs, services and resources for recent graduates, first-time career changers, mid-life career changers, or any alumnus/a engaged in a job search. We want you to consider our office a primary resource for career information and job search assistance. Whatever your needs, we're here to help you take your career to the next level.

Our office develops and expands recruiting relationships with employers to create opportunities and list job openings for RIT alumni, at entry and experienced levels. These opportunities are accessible through Job Zone, our web-based jobs database system, found on our website. Click here to request your Job Zone account. Visit our Employer website to post a position for RIT alumni or students.

We offer a variety of career and job search related programming, including our Success Skills workshops for alumni in all stages of their careers; Alumni Career Transitions programs, which provide mid-life career changers and downsized workers with strategies and resources to attain success in new career endeavors; and Career Management for Young Alumni programs, to help recent graduates gain confidence and advance in their careers.

We're seeking motivated alumni volunteers who are as enthusiastic about RIT as we are. If you are enjoying success in your career and would like to participate in the career development of our current students, we invite you to contact us. You can make a significant contribution to RIT by volunteering time and talent in the Career Services area, as a Professional Network advisor, mock interviewer, or workshop panelist. Your time commitment is minimal, but the impact lasts a lifetime.
Advisors are available to meet with alumni on a one-on-one basis based on your field of interest, to help with career and employment matters, including job search, making a career change, and dealing with layoff or downsizing issues. Our Success Skills workshops prepare alumni for their job search, and are offered on site throughout the year, as well as online through narrated presentations.
