Ashish Arora reposted this🔍 Reflections on Operating Models in the Age of AI Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to engage with our latest research at HCLTech on how organizations are evolving their operating models in response to AI-led disruption. One observation stands out: while many firms are extremely bullish on GenAI and digital transformation, scaling AI in the enterprise is no mean feet. Besides obvious challenges on responsibility, explainability etc. The real challenge is getting the IT teams and business to tango (still). The shift toward product-aligned operating models has been around for some time - AI accelerates the need for this shift. Companies which get this mature will reap the benefits of AI adoption at pace and scale – companies unable to progress this much needed shift in operating, will struggle. Interestingly, Europe appears to be leading in confidence and commitment to this model. Regulatory clarity and a strong focus on customer outcomes may be playing a role, but I suspect it’s also about mindset—balancing structure with adaptability. I would love to hear how you have approached this and what do you see working/where are the challenges? 📘 For those interested, the full report is here: https://lnkd.in/ehEMeQJf #AI #OperatingModel #Leadership #DigitalTransformation #CustomerCentricity #GenAI #HCLTech #EuropeAshish Arora reposted thisIn an era where #digital transformation is essential, our new global report, The Blueprint to #AI-led Operating Model: Mastering the Art of #Engineering Value at Velocity, highlights how product ways of working are positioning organizations to stay future-ready. The agentic push via Vera Rubin, virtualization of the stack, opening up to ecosystem partners with a mindset to leverage each others strengths only sets the stage for something beyond GPU / CPU compute. It’s now time to “verticalize the vertical stack” and create meaningful value apps that max out the compute capacity at a fraction of the TPW (tokens per watt). No more TLOT (tokens left on the table) 😊 Vertical Climbers, start your engines !

Your stories and encouragement were the ultimate inspiration to finally take this leap. I also have to give a nod to Google Gemini. It helped us build a progressive training schedule, create a solid packing list and manage the multiple health problems we faced at high altitude without any immediate healthcare facilities - it was like having a personal expedition consultant right in my pocket. Ashish Arora liked thisAshish Arora liked thisToo many organisations are celebrating AI success based on a single metric: time saved. But time saved doing what, and where did that work go? I’ve seen organisations report impressive productivity gains only to realise they’d simply shifted effort elsewhere - more review cycles, more governance overhead, or more burden placed on employees to manage the AI itself. Time saved can be incremental and helpful. But it’s not necessarily transformational. A better lens is value created. That means using workplace data to drive measurable performance gains through hyper‑personalised experiences, proactive “invisible IT” that resolves issues before they’re noticed, and data‑led decisions that remove bottlenecks and friction across the workforce. My view is that AI shouldn’t just make work faster. It should make work demonstrably better - higher quality, fewer interruptions, and more meaningful outcomes. What’s harder in your organisation right now: measuring value, changing workflows, or driving adoption beyond early enthusiasts? #WeAreLenovo

Ashish Arora liked this111 Years in one room. Below post about our CEO stayed with me this week. Not because of the announcement. Because I had just seen the same story at a negotiation table lately. Seven HCLTech people sat in that room. Together, we carried 111 years of HCLTech experience. 111 years. That may sound like a dinosaur graveyard. It was the opposite. What I saw were seven sharp people at the height of their experience, fully in the game. This was not old tenure. This was accumulated power. Years of learning. Years of building. Years of solving problems under pressure. Years of taking ownership when it mattered. Some started as young engineers straight out of university in India. First role. First steps. Then came bigger challenges, new countries, Europe, new clients, more pressure, more responsibility. Year after year. And you could feel it in the room. In the calm. In confidence. In the ownership. Large programmes rarely fail because of technology alone. They fail when ownership is weak. That is why the CEO's story matters. Continuity at HCLTech is not only visible at the top. It lives across the company, in people who stayed, grew, delivered, and made the company’s reputation their own. At some point, commitment stops being a line in a proposal. It becomes personal. It becomes a promise. That is not comfort. That is conviction. That is HCLTech. And our customers can feel the difference. #HCLTech #Leadership #Ownership #Experience #Engineering #Consistency #TrustAshish Arora liked thisIn an industry obsessed with external hires, HCLTech chose continuity. In 2025, the company reappointed Vijayakumar C as CEO until 2030, a clear vote of confidence in a leader who has grown with the organization for over three decades. He joined HCL in 1994 as a #seniorengineer. No spotlight. No headline role. Just an engineer building systems. By 2016, he was leading the entire company. And he didn’t just manage it, he pivoted it. Under his #leadership, #HCLTech moved beyond traditional #ITservices into high-value areas like #semiconductorengineering, #softwareproducts, #cloud, #AI, #cybersecurity, and #digitalengineering. He sharpened the company’s global positioning, expanded enterprise relationships, and strengthened operational discipline at scale. At a time when the tech services industry faced pricing pressure and automation risks, Vijayakumar focused on building differentiated capabilities rather than chasing volume. His journey, from grassroots engineer to global CEO, reflects something rare in large organizations: homegrown leadership with long-term vision. The 2025 reappointment is not just about stability. It signals belief in a strategy that blends deep engineering roots with future-ready digital ambition. As AI, cloud, and enterprise transformation reshape the tech landscape, HCLTech is betting on a leader who understands both its legacy and its next leap. #HCLTech #Vijayakumar #Engineer #AI #Cloud #Technology

Think only large GCCs lead global transformation? Think again. India’s Mid-Market GCCs: The New Innovation Powerhouses. India’s Global Capability Center (GCC) landscape is undergoing a remarkable transformation, and it’s the mid-market GCCs that are leading this quiet revolution. Momentum Like Never Before Over 480 mid-market GCCs now operate across India, employing more than 210,000 professionals and representing 27% of the country’s entire GCC ecosystem. The pace is staggering: 35% of these centers have been established in just the last two years, contributing 30% of all new GCC units in that period. Why Are Mid-Market GCCs So Impactful? Innovation at the Core: These centers are 1.3x more likely to be transformation hubs and mature 1.2x faster than larger peers. Deep-Tech Talent Magnet: India now houses 47% of global product management talent and 25% of deep-tech roles for mid-market GCCs, making it a true hub for AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data science. End-to-End Ownership: Nearly 60% of product and platform responsibilities in enterprise portfolios are managed from Indian mid-market GCCs. Strategic Influence: Over 80% of these centers are setting hiring, performance, and culture benchmarks for their global organizations. Smart, Agile, and Everywhere These GCCs are rewriting the playbook and not just following it. Their lean, agile teams operate with a start-up mindset, driving innovation and influencing policy. Companies like Planview, Flexera, and Bazaarvoice are living proof. These are not back offices anymore but global innovation labs. Growth is spreading beyond Bengaluru to Pune, Hyderabad, and emerging hubs like Chennai, with mid-market firms finding competitive advantages outside traditional metros. The Road Ahead With 130,000–150,000 mid-market companies globally, India is poised to attract 30,000–40,000 more GCCs in the coming years, especially from the US, UK, Germany, and Japan. If nurtured right, these centers could become AI-native innovation hubs, spinning off IP, shaping policy, and driving global transformation. Want the Full Picture? The just-released NASSCOM-Zinnov report, India’s GCC Leap: Powering Global Mid-Market Momentum, dives deep into this dynamic shift. It’s a must-read for anyone interested in the future of global capability building, tech innovation, and the evolving role of India in the world economy. Download the report now to explore how mid-market GCCs are setting new benchmarks in agility, innovation, and global impact. https://lnkd.in/epzGuS9f Let’s give mid-market GCCs the spotlight they’ve long deserved. They’re not the next big thing; they’re already doing big things. #MidMarketGCCs #Innovation #India #GCC #TechLeadership #NASSCOM #Zinnov #Planview #Flexera #Bazaarvoice #ANSR #GCCPulse™

The future of India’s digital economy will be shaped by the synergy between networks, infrastructure, and intelligence. At the 2nd ISP Conclave & INNOG 8, I shared a perspective that’s often overlooked - the convergence of ISPs, Data Centers, and Cloud platforms as the true engine powering enterprise transformation, AI adoption, and edge computing. In this conversation with BW Businessworld, I discuss why India’s digital infrastructure must be built on collaboration, not silos and why this decade is pivotal for aligning policy, innovation, and connectivity. This National Data Centre Day, it’s important to reflect on the role our industry now plays as the fourth utility — the digital factories powering our future. From powering critical healthcare and research, to enabling AI innovation and the digital services that touch lives daily, data centres have become the invisible backbone of our economy and society. I recently shared my thoughts with Rob Shepherd for the October issue of Inside Networks, discussing how prefabricated data centres will be essential in shaping an AI-powered future. Now, new headlines underscore exactly why that infrastructure is so vital as OpenAI and NVIDIA are set to pledge billions of dollars in UK data centre investment, teaming up with Nscale. This is a huge vote of confidence in the UK as a leader in AI, data-centre infrastructure and industrial innovation. As AI adoption accelerates, the demands on our digital infrastructure are unprecedented. Prefabricated and modular solutions are no longer a “nice to have” — they are the foundation for building resilient, efficient, and sustainable capacity at speed. We must decouple AI growth from energy consumption, embed sustainability into every design and continue building the collaborative ecosystems that will ensure digital progress goes hand-in-hand with a greener future. 👉 Read the full feature on pages 48–51 here, and thank you to Rob for sharing my thoughts: https://lnkd.in/eGbdt6MV #NationalDataCentreDay #NDCD25 #DigitalFactories #PoweringProgress

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions… • 1K followers
2025 marked a decisive inflection point for enterprise technology in India. What we are seeing across boardrooms today is a clear shift — from digital experimentation to disciplined, large-scale execution. AI, cloud and automation are no longer viewed as innovation initiatives. They are now being treated as core enterprise infrastructure, scrutinised with the same rigour as capital investments — governance, compliance, resilience and ROI first. At Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited, this transition is unmistakable. Boards and CXOs are asking harder questions: - How does AI improve end-to-end operations, not just isolated tasks? - Are controls, observability and compliance embedded by design? - Can cloud and legacy systems coexist without compromising resilience? - Is cybersecurity keeping pace with AI-driven scale and complexity? 2025 also revealed an important dual reality: AI is accelerating efficiency and intelligence across sectors while simultaneously expanding the attack surface and operational risk. This makes fragmented, reactive approaches unsustainable. As we move into 2026, the mandate is clear: - Treat AI as foundational infrastructure - Build integrated, AI-powered frameworks, not siloed tools - Balance cloud-first agility with infrastructure stability - Embed security, governance and resilience from day one Equally critical is addressing the fundamentals — data integrity, skills readiness and targeted execution. Enterprises that prioritise operational wins over big-bang transformations will convert ambition into durable value. The organisations that succeed in 2026 will not be those that adopt the most technology — but those that execute responsibly, securely and with discipline. At Blue Cloud Softech, we believe the future belongs to enterprises that align intelligence with trust and growth with resilience. Refreshing to get a deep dive from Wipro CEO Srini Palia and strategy head Hari Shetty on the go-forward plan for Services-as-Software and their emerging Wipro Intelligence platform. Wipro now has multiple clients already live using its intelligence platforms, including organizations such as HM Treasury, Mitie, Independent Health, JFK International Air Terminal, and Odido. These are not pilots or labs, but production environments where AI is embedded into operations, decisioning, and service delivery. What stands out is the shift from automation to orchestration. Wipro Intelligence is less about isolated use cases and more about wiring intelligence across workflows, data, and teams to deliver measurable outcomes. This is what scaling AI actually looks like, quieter than the hype, but far more consequential. The firms that win this cycle will be those that turn AI into a services-as-a-software operating platform, not a slide deck. Wipro is clearly one of the early services movers leaning in that direction.
