True crime is more popular than ever, with almost half of people in the UK engaging with it every day. But as the genre continues to grow, so too does the risk of missing people being reduced to content, stories shaped by clicks, views and entertainment value, rather than the lived reality of the families still experiencing them. In the UK, a person is reported missing every 90 seconds. Created to challenge that reality, and our wider relationship with these kinds of stories, this powerful film was edited by Rebecca Luff and directed by Rachel Stubbings in partnership with BBH London. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this important piece of work to life. We hope it encourages a more thoughtful, human response to stories of tragedy, and prompts reflection on how they are told and consumed. We're very excited about the promotion of Miles Watson to Editor. Miles is based in London and is represented by Work globally. Growing up in North-West London, surrounded by a lively, mixed Irish and West Indian family, Miles developed his passion for storytelling from a young age. ‘Miles now becoming an Editor is so great for us all. Watching him grow from a runner to a trusted Editor on our main roster has been a highlight for us. He brings a fresh, calm energy to every room he’s in. He has a wonderful sensitivity and puts cuts together with skill.’ - Jane Dilworth, Found Partner #WorkEditorial #MilesWatson #NewEditor #TrustInCraft https://lnkd.in/e4iNznYX
