Put simply, we create characters and invent worlds in a way that truly engages audiences and raises smiles. We’re a creative-led animation production studio based in Bristol. And we’re here to help you connect, inform, and inspire through the power of 2D and 3D animation. For us, it’s about producing films that tells a story or brings an idea to life in an inspiring, charming and emotive way. For you, that means working closely (or as close as you want to) with an experienced team of directors, animators and designers, led by founders Dylan Shipley and Louis Jones. We support our in-house animation services with a network of tried, tested and highly capable partners in scriptwriting, sound production and voice over. We're dedicating this #TBT to one of our favourite BBC Bitesize projects! A series of videos we created for our pals Cal and Bunny! 😎🐰🎶🌈 It was loads of fun making this music video about the many colours of the rainbow and the best ways remember them all. It's a catchy tune, innit? In fact, it's been stuck in our heads for YEARS. 😆 Here's a lovely top down comparison of the final animation vs. the animatic to showcase how we achieved the end product for our clients. We're back with more Bright Ideas! 💡 *crowd cheers, music swells in distance* In this video, we're focusing on opposing arcs. Do you ever encounter issues when it comes to your line of action whilst animating? Characters a bit too stiff, not expressive enough? Well, a simple trick is to just spice up how you flip those arcs. Start small, see how it works with the scene, the world and characters, or go EXTREME for maximum impact in a comedic gag or action sequence. This is just a teaser of what you can expect to learn in our upcoming Toon Boom courses as you delve into the software with the maestro Dan Keeble himself! Today's #TBT is action packed! For this project we had been approached to help create bespoke animation for a short independent film called Bruce. The summary: "In Liverpool's China Town, an out-of-shape and out-of-friends divorcee tries to reconnect with his estranged son by pretending to be the reincarnation of his hero, Bruce Lee." It was a dream come true getting to animate this 2D sequence, not to mention bringing one of our biggest inspirations to life. We only wish we could've done more! 💪💥
