We're supporting SMEs in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to unlock growth opportunities across ASEAN. Earlier this month, we brought together more than 700 SME representatives in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Dongguan for the inaugural GBA x ASEAN Week to highlight the potential of this high-growth corridor. Our economists and colleagues from Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam shared practical insights on expanding into ASEAN — from operations and tax considerations to navigating local regulatory frameworks. In addition, we engaged with trade councils to strengthen public‑private partnerships and support GBA firms as they build a foothold across the region. At Standard Chartered, we leverage our global network and deep expertise to connect clients with growth opportunities around the world.
